I can't say much for Americans from the USA but a lot of North Americans in Canada enjoy Indian food. It's especially popular among the vegetarian crowd. I'm partial to saag paneer, matar paneer, and channa.

i love chicken tandoori with biryani rice, chicken curry, shrimp tandoori, butter chicken with basmati rice, chicken or vegetable samosas, and naan bread with curry dipping sauce.
i also like chicken tandoori rolled up into a gyro sandwich with hummus and lettuce! yummy!!!

i love lamb biryani and chicken tikka masala , u can visit mumtaz pan house in Bradford or u could visit curry mile in wimslo road.

I absolutely love Indian food thanks to my mom. One of my favorite dishes is buttered chicken.
