Davey Allison. Injured in a helicopter crash trying to land in the infield of Talladaga in 1993. He died shortly after. It was the second loss for NASCAR that year, Alan Kalwikki ( Don't know how to spell his last name) died in a plane crash.

Based on the Superspeedway chart, Dale Jr. runs the best, for the most part. Keep in mind that bad luck has plagued the team at Superspeedways which have hurt his finishes but he, by far, excluding that fact, runs the best at Talladega and said it himself that he doesn't want to run in the back of the pack, he wants to go. You should pencil in Kevin Harvick as well he has ran well at Talladega lately. Also look out for David Ragan he runs well on superspeedways especially at Talladega. Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin (not too sure about him this weekend) usually run up front as well and never count out JPM he usually runs up front. *I would place Jeff Gordon on this list, but recently he hasn't run up front or finish well at Talldega or Daytona for the most part, despite his six wins at Talladega he doesn't make the list.
