And you're surprised by this? The man is more than double your age. No doubt he feels like he's your parent. You should have thought about this before marrying him. If you married him without ever considering the possibility that this might happen, you were living in a fantasy world.
What's he scolding you about? Many of the 21-year-old's I know still have a lot of growing up to do, so *sometimes* they need to have someone point things out to them. Now, I'm not saying that's the case in your situation, because I don't know, but I’m still wondering what he’s scolding you about.

Yes age does matter. He has lived 20 years of life that you are still looking forward to. That is a long time and your point of view at the end of it is not the same as it was going into it. He may never be honest with you but to him you are a little girl, in both years and experience. How do you react? you have to first ask yourself if this is what you want. It probably will not change. Once you think about this honestly with yourself you answer should be clear.

I don't think age matters but come one sweet heart he could be your dad may be that's way you feel the way you do. I been with my husband for like ten years or more we are both 23 and our birth days are in June just 14 days apart.

ok this is how i see it about the age thing its an issue of mind over matter if you don't mind it don't matter lol but seriously you guys are both adults so it doesn't matter as long as your happy but maybe you're not happy you are a grown woman don't let any man tell you what to do he has no authority over you if he treats you like a child then you don't need to be with him

I would say age doesn't matter if the two are compatible. But age sure can complicate things. Tell him to treat you with some respect, and if he doesn't...well I don't think he's the one for you.

It doesn't matter if you are happily married.. But, if you are feeling any resentment, you should either talk with him or leave.. He's probably not going to treat you any different..I wish you good luck....

sOrry to say this but age really do matters, cOz, people of different ages acts differently, but as long as your comfortable with one another, i guess you'll be fine... but 5yrs plus in gap is not preferable
