Do animals go to Heaven as well as humans? I have a soft spot for the animals and they deserve just as much respect as humans do, in Heaven I would love to be able to communicate with the animals.

I think that all of the animals (even the wild animals) deserve to go to Heaven.

There must be animals since there's a verse stating: "The lion will lay down with the lamb..." Maybe it's simply figurative language, but even so, I think we need to realize who designed these loving, furry, delightful creatures. If God is capable of designing the gossamer-winged butterflies, the sleek cats, the trusting eyes of my dog, and the soaring eagle, I think I can trust the care of them to him as well. His word says that not even a sparrow falls to the ground that he doesn't know about! So as much as you love animals, he must love them more! Hope that helps!

My question to all of you who feel that animals have a soul just as humans do - and I say soul, not spirit which I believe is the case- why do you keep animals in captivity? I mean, I do not believe an animal is good or bad because it decides to be so. Animals are part of the nature that suffers as a result of Man´s fall and it will be restored in the eternal life. An animal won´t evolve in the sense humans do, it hasn´t got a free will either like we do. So, those of you who think an animal has a soul as a human does, why do you enslave animals? Why do you not set them free? Do you believe you know what is best for them?

No.
And neither do most humans.
Only 144,000 have this privilege.
Rev. 7;4...14;1...And these ones are not limited to modern Jews.
(Revelation 7:9) After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands.

...from all over the world...

So where do the rest of us finish up?

Answer; asleep in death until we are resurrected. Rev. 20; 12,13

(Daniel 12:2) And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches [and] to indefinitely lasting abhorrence.
(Psalm 13:3) Do look [upon me]; answer me, O Jehovah my God. Do make my eyes shine, that I may not fall asleep in death,

(Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust.

The Bible says nothing about animals being resurrected.
But as above, it is clear on them dying and returning to the ground, as dust.
Mem also return to the ground, but eventually will be resurrec ted.

I firmly believe that too. I've had experiences with pets that have passed and so has my mother. I know I will see them again some day, all of them. In fact there will be so many I probably won't be able to move through the mob that's come to greet me. :-)

When people tell you that animals have no soul, you tell them to show you the exact passage in their Bible where it says that. It shuts them up every time, because there is none.

All creatures created by God has the right to go to heaven.
Animals has there own Kingdom and they can make sins too to each other. The lesser you got sins the more chances you go to heaven.

The Bible makes it clear that only people go to heaven. In fact, not even children go to heaven . . . as children, that is: a soul transported to heaven takes its highest form and appears in the prime of life. Only adults (which includes children whose souls are taken to heaven in a adult form) enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
