Buy you some Australian Tea tree oil. Go to a hobby store and buy a 2 oz spray glass bottle. Mist your mouth gently with the Australian Tea tree oil, (not enough to swallow) 2 times a day. Or you could put a few drops in your tooth paste. The reason it work is because it prevents cavities and gum disease, which causes bad breath.

Bad breath is usually brought on by the breakdown of proteins by bacteria somewhere in the mouth. However, there are several other possible causes that affect the airways, oesophagus and stomach that can also lead to bad breath.

To prevent this, maintain a high level of oral and dental hygiene. In addition to brushing, it is important to clean between the teeth using dental floss, wood sticks or an inter-dental brush as recommended by your dentist or pharmacist and use a tongue cleaner and clean right to the back of the tongue.

These can help too:
Use a mouthwash recommended by your dentist or pharmacist. The best time to use it is just before sleeping.
Drink plenty of fluids, avoiding too much coffee.
Clean your mouth after eating milk products, fish and meat.
Chew sugar-free gum, especially if your mouth feels dry.
Eat fresh, fibrous vegetables.

To the person that said use Listerine do not, not only does it contain a large amount of alcohol which dries out the mouths tissues and damages the teeth it is bad to use a mouthwash every day, it is like an antibiotic only use it when you need it otherwise when you do need it it will not work. You could try to start flossing and try using corsodyl mouthwash for 1 week to 10 days like a course of antibiotics. If the problem is still there go and see a dentist as you may have a gum problem which can lead to you loosing your teeth.

Avoid fried and spicey foods, bad breathe is mostly caused by the last thing you ate and build up of fats in the gut and on the back of the tongue generate 'catarrh' which is foul smelling.

Brush tongue as well as teeth. Eat more boiled, poached and baked foods. Chew no sugar gum. Regular visits to dentist. Eat less oils & fats and garlic. Take garlic capsules for its benefits instead.

If this doesn't help it's Halitosis and can't be treated! But this smells really rank (like a dead sheep) and is rare, so you would know.

Brush your tongue or use a tongue scraper before brushing. Drink plenty of water and chew gum when you can. Avoid spicy/garlicky foods. If you are still having bad breath problems then visit your dentist.

bad breath or hallitosis is a result of poor oral hygiene or cleanliness there can be various reasons for it like -- lot of deposits due to improper or lack of brushing and flossing
-- due to dieseasd gums condition called gingivitis , periodontistis
--- due to any abscess or infection
---due to deposits on tongue
--- due to foodstuffs containing garlic and onions
--- smoking
--- infected tonsils

well if you brush and floss regularly and still suffering from bad breath than you need to get deep cleaning done by hygienist and even though if you suffer the same problem cosult a periodontist for it, avoid having foodstuffs containing garlic and onion as it also causes bad breath and avoid smoking if you smoke.
