I want to know the difference between "girlfriend material" and "wife material."

I personally think I'd make a better wife than I would a girlfriend. It kinda shows seemingly how I attract nothing but older guys and noone my age. And I know how to do everything a wife usually does such as clean, cook, take care of the kids, deal with finances...etc.

If I was someone's girlfriend, I'd be at a loss of what to do. (I've never had a boyfriend)

So what would be the difference between "gf material" and "wife material"?

Hmm..

I think that a person is both.
You usually start with the girlfriend / boyfriend stage.

Unless you are one of those that expects a guy to walk up to you and say "Hi, shall we get married?"

But, a girlfriend does the same things a wife does. The biggest difference is the commitment isn`t "official" as in paperwork.

So, if you think you are good wife material, then you are good girlfriend material too. No worries there ;)

Not much difference really, a wife is just a legal girlfriend. Being a wife, just comes with papers.

Of course, just being a girlfriend gives you the freedom to just pack up and go when you feel the need to. As opposed to being a wife, where it'll take legalities to end the relationship.

I guess it really depends on how you look at it.
