Lol. Best question ever asked! Haha, you're amazing. You deserve an internet pat on the back...and I'd suppose the answer is: YES!

I hear if you defeat the final boss you recieve lots of oil, but as long as your willing to sacrifice other people- it's apparently worth it...to the president >.>

No, but evidently the last democrat president did.

Thats why he made members of the military continue to wear Vietman era flaq vest,

instead of developing actual body armor for the military.

The first body armor ever issued to US soldiers was issued during the Bush administration.

The first up armored humvees were developed during the Bush administration.

Everyone who agreed with this guy deserves to be punched in the nose. Check your facts, not just what you hear from fellow liberals.

And in response to the answer ^^^above me^^^: You are a complete and utter moron. Other people's blood...shut the heck up, especially if you think that our leaders WANT our people to die. By the way, your good buddy Clinton could have ended this a long time ago....when he had the chance to get Osama....in the bombings that occurred when he was in office. But no. He did nothing. Because you liberal a**holes think you can be diplomatic with these people. "Oh we can just talk to crazy Al Qaeda suicide bombers, I'm sure they can be rational! One day, we'll all be sitting around a fireplace crackin' open a beer laughing about this whole thing." WRONG! You can't just pull out either. Not only does it demonstrate disrespect for our fallen soldiers, that a third-world country beat us in a war, but it also brings terror back to U.S. soil. Go live in Canada you tree-huggers. As it goes, "It's the US without people hating us." Yeah, and legal public nudism too.....for EVERYONE, not just good looking people. ;)

Do you realize that I never saw effective body armor once during his predecessors administration?
Do you realize the first time I saw a true armored humvee and not just a metal shell that wouldn't stop a 9mm round was after he had just gotten in office and we pulled 12 out of an arms depot?
Do you realize that when we went to Afghanistan, due to the previous administrations cuts in the military, few armored HumVees were available but everyone had effective body armor within the first 6 months?

Why do you think that the Military overwhelmingly cast their votes for him in BOTH elections and his opponent was at best complacent in his party not being overjoyed at not counting the absentee ballots which were mostly military?

Do you really think that since he has pushed for raises for the military as well as equipment that was non-existent under the previous administration that we will stand by idly while you make inuendo that he does not take it into consideration?

I'm an independent. I'm not going to play your partisan reindeer games.

Does anyone here realize that politics is nothing more than a game that uses people to win their prize?

Usmcgrinmom has first hand experience of what I have just said.

Is her husband's experience not taken into account when people answer this question?

It just goes to show how ill prepared we were when it came to having an exit strategy for this conflict (remember, major combat operations no longer exist and have ended based on what President Bush said).

So the question begs for an answer. Who is really gaining by this conflict?

Are the Iraqi's? Untold millions of them have moved out of Iraq due to how unsafe it is there. Untold hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed. You have a civil war that the coalition forces have created.

There was never any viable proof that Sadaam had ties to terrorists or Osama bin Landen.

What is it that people want to hear? We need to stay the course? We need to exit Iraq? What?

Ronnie asked a simple question and he was attacked as if he were a terrorist. Not by all but by many. Usmcgirnmom, I totally understand your viewpoint.

I don't need a long explanation or even blogs that state your own opinions. What I need is a common sense answer as to why we are still there fighting a conflict that we will never, ever win.

Remember, there are no more major combat operations happening in Iraq. That is what we have been told.

Does oil have anything to do with this conflict? Just answer yes or no.

Does world domination have anything to do with this conflict? Yes or no.

Were we lied to about Iraq and the reasons we went into this conflict? Yes or no.

Are our permanently disabled veterans of this conflict no longer any good? Do we stand up for them and fight for them? Have we lost sight of these heroes?

All I want and need is common sense answers. I don't need long blogs to tell me the answers to the above questions.

Truth hurts when it doesn't agree with you. It only hurts when you want to believe what you want to believe and you close your mind to any other person's thoughts on this subject (or any other subject for that matter).

We have democrats, republicans and independents. Why? All it does is create bickering amongst the American public.

Now why do you think politicians would want that? They couldn't possibly want us to fight amongst each other instead of asking more pertinent questions such as asking our leaders to be more accountable to us.

Are our leaders suppose to be held accountable to us? Yes or no.

Are we suppose to have a government that is of the people, for the people and by the people? Yes or no.

Are we suppose to do preemptive strikes against other countries? Yes or no.

I don't want blogs. I want strait forward answers. Just answer the above questions with simplicity. It's when we get into complex answers (to satisfy our own logic) that we tend to lose sight of the real issue

The constitution is really rather simple to understand. We need a leader for this country that will abide by the constitution and not the global elite.

Great analogy. Democrats like Hilary Clinton oppose video games with violence too. Odd, isn't it.

There's a glitch in the game. When you finally do earn body armor, Nancy Pelosi gets it taken back.

Why would they think that. We are disposable and no good when we are damaged. Just ask my husband. And ask our president why he vetoed an increase for veterans
