Yeah but you might like to wait for a while for the dye to get used to your hair, because dying it straight away might cause it to get damaged and ruined.
Also if you dye it again a different colour, the two may mix and form a really hideous colour that you absolutely hate more than the one you've got now - my advice: Be patient and wait. Don't dye it yet - maybe dye it in a couple of months time.

If your hair is very thin I suggest to wait.
Even if you have a resistant hair waiting 2 weeks is the best policy.
After 2-3 washes your color will fade a little bit, you might end up loving it.
If you really can't stand it, you should use a hair repair mask 2-3 weeks after, to help you hair recover.
Tip: Go to a beauty saloon and ask them to dye your hair dark brown and to keep some mahogany locks, untouched. It will look awesome!
Good Luck!

as a salon owner and experienced stylist, you should not under any circumstances dye or bleach your again so soon
as you will end up with very over processed hair, and the horrible cotton wool effect, the answer to this is really quite simple, go to your nearest Sally's hair store, or a good chemist, and buy a toner with the colour you Reg, there is no bleaching agents in the toner, and it will fix the colour you want
follow the instructions to the letter though, and use a very good conditioner every time you wash it, and avoid any excessive heat for the time being ie straighteners and over blow drying, seems I have talked myself out of business
best of luck but I know it will be perfect, just do not dye it or bleach it whatever anyone says

U might want to wait. sure u can dye it darker, but since uve dyed ur hair recently, the new dye might not take or will fade quickly. Dying it too soon after the first will also make it fall out. Besides, depending on what type of dye u used, mahogany normally fades to a brownish color over time, especially if u wash ur hair everyday. I would give it at least 10 days to settle b4 u changed it again
a friend of mine sez that ketchup or peanut butter will make it come out too but i dont advise it...=[

Absolutely, but you might want to give your hair some time to rest first. Wait for about a week or so so the dye from the first dye job can wash out (this way your hair strands have some room for the new dye you'll be introducing) and then dye it a darker color than your hair color at the time because that's the only way it'll show.
Also, when you have the dye in, put a shower-cap over your hair and then blow-dry it. This way your hair strands expand so more dye can be absorbed. When you rinse the dye out, be sure to use cold water to do so so your hair strands will constrict and hold in more dye than if you rinsed out with warm water.

It's not going to hurt your hair to re-color it, but you will still probably see a little bit of the mahogany in it. Try and get a dark brown hair color with Ash in it. This will counteract the red, and will make it a neutral brown. Leave it on the whole time

It doesn't work that way. You will just be layering color, and you won't get the color you want. Choose a hair color for the color your hair is right now, which you say is mahogany. Only go no more than 2 shades of a darker brown. Beyond that you have to wait for it to wash out.

The field says each 6 weeks till now you will desire to dye your hair back... in case you easily would desire to alter shade then visit a hair salon. it is going to cost your cash yet a minimum of they'd do therapy on your hair till now or afterwards to help cut back damages..... nevertheless, individually i does not dye my hair back if I even have only performed it the former day!

Yes, if you can find the right dark brown colour! I'm having trouble finding one, they're either too red or too black. Perhaps we could try mixing our own colours from two different packs (same brand tho)? Has anyone else tried this?
Oh and moisturize the ends well or it'll dry out and go frizzy (olive oil is best).
Good luck hun xox

yes it is usually alright to colour your hair again, though perhaps you should go to a salon so that you get exactly what you want done correctly. Oh and a word of advice when at the be assertive and clear, do not accept anything that you do not want, and do not pay for if they mess up. this is your appearance DO NOT LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! OK take care and have fun.
