Hi. I'm thinking on moving to England (oxford to be exact) from Arizona and I want to ship my 1969 ford bronco. It's in tip top shape, but I worried that the lift/tires (oopps, I mean tyres LOL) will not meet government guidlines. It's got a 4" lift with 33" Nitto Mud Grappleres that stick out just a tad from the fenders. what type of mods will I have to do to make it street legal?

I know I will most likely have to put mud flaps on, but is there anything else? From what I hear, the regulations are very strict.

Ideas? Advice?

Thanks

Have a look on this site. The motoring links will take you through to a section that deals with Import/Export of vehicles.

It will not answer your questions in full but should give you a link to the relevant department that you need to contact.

They will be able to answer your questions and advise of any modifications you will be required to make.

You will have to settle for one of our smaller tyres here that would fit your motor.
Perhaps you can also sell your vehicle in the states and get yourself an equally good "exaggerated" motor when you move down town here.
All the best and don't forget to buy yourself a good umbrella as well.

Good luck, "Chuck".
