God does speak to you today.
He speaks through the Bible.
He speaks through prayer. (After you do some talking you have to take time to listen. Not many people do this. That is why many people call it prayer and meditation. And no, you don't have to say Ohm to get a response.)
He speaks through circumstances. (He provides situations in your life for you to learn and grow and do.)
He also speaks through the people around you.
He can speak through dreams as well. (Not all dreams, but he does in some. the Bible talks of several instances of this.)
The Holy Spirit is made available to us so me can communicate with him.
No where in the Bible does it say he will no longer speak to us.
God is always the same. If he talked to men in the past then he still talks to men.
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." Revelation 4:8b
I know several people that says they have heard God speak to them clearly and audibly. This is rare, but I believe it happened to them.

There aren't any that I am aware of.
God speaks to us today in our spirits. With the New Covenant (New Testament) the need for a priesthood to intercede between God and Man was removed, as was the need for designated prophets to speak God's words to Man.
Therefore with Jesus sacrifice having removed the barrier of sin between God and Man, God speaks to us directly today, as individuals.

Genesis 6:5-7
The Lord saw the wickedness of humankind was great on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that he had made humankind on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, “I will blot out from the earth the human beings I have created - for I am sorry that I have made them.”
