I don't think anyone can be 100% sure of anything. You just have to follow whatever has the most evidence to back it up.

Most atheists say this with the knowledge that it is pretty impossible to prove a negative. Can you prove 100% I wasn't abducted by aliens last night? I am in this sort of way less than 100% sure but only 99% sure that God doesn't exist. It is generally the person making the claims burden of proof though. So if you claim God exists it up to you to prove it. Atheists looked at the evidence or lack thereof and made a logical conclusion that so far as we can tell God doesn't exist. Finally, I think you should try to define what people mean by God. I think a lot Christians assume everyone has their God or a personal God in mind. Many actually have a very different concept. God as an impersonal force for instance or God just as the sum of Nature or physical laws of the universe. Too many assumptions to know what someone is thinking by the statement.

Yes, that's true.
Atheism follows science. And science says that lack of proof is not proof of absence.
BUT, that doesn't mean that making a blind assumption that something exists is the right answer, either.
You simply shouldn't entertain the idea, because that's illogical.
Could there be a a 16-footed arachnid with a rabbit's head somewhere in the world? Sure. But how illogical to simply assume it exists.
It's the same with god.

i think of everybody has the skill to have faith in God yet many decide for to not have faith because of the fact they don't prefer to be in charge for their strikes to God so as that they make God non existant yet have a stressful time even convincing themselves this. Even the devil believes and his angels and the Bible speaks of advent or maybe technology did not understand the earth became around however the Bible constantly stated it became. additionally even nature itself testifies that God exists as there is order and clever layout in all. human beings prefer God to make there lives complete

How can anyone PROVE something doesn't exist. If it doesn't exist then it is not there to prove or disprove..
I believe if they were so sure God doesn't exist they wouldn't waste their time on trying to get those of us that do believe, not to believe.. After all what are they saving us from if God doesn't exist?

Well I'm not 100%, it's true that none of us can prove 100% either way that a god does or doesn't exist. But based on the evidence, and sound logical reasoning, I'm 99.9% sure thier isn't a god.

100 percent sure that the God of the Christian bible dosn't exsist! If God does exsist then that god would be a kind loving god unable to hurt of punish or kill off it off spring. Not a god of hate and revenge and ever lasting hell like the christian god

I am an atheist, or one who has no beliefs in any god/s.
Yes, I agree, that no one can prove any god to not exist. No one can prove that the tooth fairy does not exist. Is that any reason to believe in either?

for the atheist, god is a figment of an overactive imagination. seeing as an atheist denies the existance of any ":god", offerring proof is an impossibility. besides, you can't prove the existance of a "god" either. you can argue til you're blue in the face, and all you will ever have is the same proof that you had at the beginning- none.

No I dont think that they are 100 percent sure that God does not exist. I think that they just dont believe that he exist and dont want to know either! It like they want to concieve themselves that he doesnt by just not having anything to do with it!

Unlike you, atheists are 100% sure in what DOES exist.. Herein lies the difference.
Can you prove my invisible friend doesn't exist..?
Your infantile and childlike religious concepts of what is 'real' will always be a hurdle for you.
