Why do the Christians in India are so overenthusiastic to convert every other Indian into a Christian?

Majority of the convert christians in India show least respect to the sentiments and God-concepts of other major religions in the country. They make even sarcastic comments on the believers of other religions and their Idols. Does this conversion for them is evangelisation? Do they feel so jigoistic about their religion that except Christianity no other religion should thrive on this planet earth? If they believe in 'Love thy neighbour' dictum, the neighbour need not be a christian. He can be a Hindu, Moslem, Buddhist, Sikh etc. Where is 'tolerence', 'magnanimity' and 'Peace' in their approach? Freedom in this country has lead to too much of indulgence.
In this context permit me to give the concepts for peaceful co-existance globally as asserted by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba;
There is only one religion the religion of Love. There is only one caste the caste of Humanity. There is only one language the language of the Heart. There is only one God, He is omnipotent.

First of all, it's not that christians are every ENTHUSIASTIC to convert other indians into christians. It just depends upon what the other person believes in. No one is forcing them to get converted right? It's just that, may be some people feel more comfortable communicating with God like how christians do.
And about the comment that 'christians feel that no other religion should thrive on this planet except them' is so wrong. Yes, christians think highly of themselves, but they don't put other people down either. They respect other people's beliefs sincerely. You most probably have a personal conflict against christians. Or may be a few christian people spoke out some unwanted sarcastic comments. But just keep in mind that not everyone in the world is the same.

If you know all that, then why too much hatred against christians? There is only one religion and it is LOVE. That was what YOU mentioned. Then why do u have to group christians separately? First of all please follow Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's concept and then complain about others.
Even though you have many negative thoughts, you have some good positive thoughts too. But just dont let the negative thoughts rule you.
You believe in God, I believe in God, and everyone living believes in God. Let it be that way. We believe in one God, but we talk to him in different ways. That's all. Some people may have their own communist comments. I said SOME. Not everyone are like that. Just pray to God. Ask God to forgive such people and mind your own business. HE will look after the rest.

You said Christians????? It is written that everyman==woman child etc. will know the only and true God. Man has had belief since the beginning. What ever was a treat for them was honored, as they wanted no harm to come to them. Now Jesus teaching are one, what man's be live, that's another story. But if you check this religions, they have a hole bunch of idols, one for each occasion, it is the responsibility of true Christians to open and be the light to this people. THEY are searching for the ONLY AND TRUE GOD. Idolatry--No knowledge of the only God, but when found, others idols go to the trash can.. Moslem's, descendants from Ismael, son of Abraham--but must face his brother- Isa cc . One Hebrew the other Arab. Same father same God then why the difference, check the Bible she will talk to you as it is the Holy Spirit, that gives light and understanding. As to the rest of your exposure, you are right, but it is not God, is us who defy and go against God's will. There is only but one God, one Baptism, one Church, Search and will find. By the way, people from India are not Indians, Hindus

If you stop and *think* about it honestly, every conversation is about about somebody trying to convince someone of something.

Liberal secular humanists are as big evangelists as anyone. Their "faith" isn't about "live and let live", it's about, "you WILL accept this, or you'll be branded as evil and banned".

Just concede for a moment that there is an eternity, and that Christians have the only answer to accessing Heaven, which is Jesus Christ. Wouldn't they be jerks to hog it all to themselves? It's natural for most people to want to share what they believe to be the truth. The exceptions to this are rare and miniscule. You're doing it now by sharing your beliefs in the hopes that others will agree with you.

Even if you don't believe this, the human race has always been tribal, and efforts at 'recruitment' of one kind or another are a part of daily life. --On college campuses, in business, at the water cooler where someone right now is trying to convince someone else that the Iraq war is wrong or vice-versa. This is in no way exclusive to "evil" Christians. --They're entitled to their beliefs, and they're entitled to be left alone about them. And where free speech is permitted, they're entitled to share what they believe, like everyone else.

So why don't you get off it, and get real.

There are seven (7) levels of consciousness, within man.
Ignorance is not the lowest level of consciousness, false wisdom occupies that position.
If a person is basking in false wisdom, they will try to drag every human down to that level of consciousness.
When light dawns in man, man will rise up above false wisdom to the level of ignorance, and from there man will once again have the understanding that all humans are children of one loving God!

If I am born christian, I will not make much impact upon my Priest, but If I am born a Non christian , and I turn a Christian.. my Priest will be Happy to see me..

the reason is simple. brainwashing! christians have been doing it for two thousand years, so they've been able to learn to do it well. the first rule of brainwashing is get the victim to do what you don't want to do yourself, that is, keep your own hands clean and let someone else take the blame for the mass destruction you are advocating.
