Well, frump, I'll admit I hadn't heard this argument before, and I've heard plenty.
Even if God didn't write the Bible in English, God would certainly know English, right? And such a message spelled out in any language in Pi is pretty cool. I am not very good at statistics, but it seems like it would be, statistically, pretty weird.
So weird, in fact, that it makes a skeptic wonder how true it is. The bit about how to convert numbers to letters seems ok to me. So the next question is just where in the calculations of pi does this number string turn up. I don't know about you, but I don't have it memorized very far. The internet does, though.
So I plugged the numbers into a website that looks for them in the digits for pi. Guess what? Not there. Not in the first 200,000,000 digits of pi. As a general rule, if it sounds too amazing to be true, it probably isn't true. Sorry. But it was an interesting challenge.

Anyone can look around for something, change things at their convenience, it forms a sentence saying "I am god i am real blah blah". Its not proof.

It sounds like some desperate, whack brain, conspiracy theorist claiming that because the supposed plane model of the 9/11 airplane was "Q33 NYC", and when you type that in wingdings it makes an airplane and two buildings, that proves 9/11 was a conspiracy.

Yes, because clearly God only speaks English.

It's like the movie The Number 23. If you try hard enough, you can make anything look like it has some divine meaning. You can order numbers in a certain way, assign them meanings, and then try to claim that it means something.

It doesn't. It's just some idiot in his basement with too much time on his hands.

riiiight.

so god left his message in English, using the western alphabet.

this is as good as the guys measuring inches in the ancient Egyptian pyramids to come up with "end times" dates!

I believe He is in each and every one of us, "How do I know? you say!"
Because we all know he created the universe, created us in his likeness, sent us forth to multiply and that we did.
Our experiences in life are our lessons whether we learn from them or not, whose to say, personally I have learnt one lesson several times over and fall back into the trap . . . ( This lesson always involves money) This lesson sucks.
But I try to rectify it, and pull myself out eventually.
Don't know if this answers your question, but if you look back over your life and pick out the problems you've had, just think, "Who guided you in the right direction?, Yourself ?. . . . or Gods guidance?
You decide and let me know your opinion.

Its even more amazing that the message is in modern English. What would we think if it was in Japanese?
