HELLO,
YOU'RE TEETHING ON THE ONE COMING IN. SOME ORAJEL OR AMBESOL WILL HELP, AS WELL A SOFTER DIET--NO HARD CANDY OR JAWBREAKERS FOR YOU.
TAKE SOME ADVIL IN THE MEANTIME AS YOU HAVE IT GROW IN.

My dentist told me the only reason to remove the wisdom teeth is decay. They're hard to reach, and often are lower than the others so they can get cavities easier. I guess if they will push the other teeth out of whack that's a good reason too.

But as for pain, try some orajel (teething ointment for babies). Actually, I think it's made for adults too. It will simply numb the area & make it more tolerable.

If you don't want the teeth extracted at this time I would recommend you to take over the counter pain med(tylenol, motrin, advil...etc) as needed to relief pain and daily warm salt water rinse until the area doesn't bother you anymore. You really don't need antibiotic at this time.

The best thing you can do to ease the pain is soak some cotton with Clove Oil and put it on your gums. It tases terribly strong, but you will feel no pain.

You can get clove oil at any pharmacy, over the counter.

If they aren't pushing on your other teeth then there is no reason to remove them. If all you are feeling is the tooth coming in find something rubbery to chew on, it helps.

i feel your pain....i only was born with two (according to x rays)...thank goodness! and one of them is coming in too...i have been using ambesol. i don't have dental insurance and can't afford to get it pulled now...besides, they'd have to cut it out and that's gonna cost a lot.
