I had a bad fever a while back. I was bed-ridden, sweating and really out of it. I thought I was an angel standing in front of a large black valley (The Valley of the Shadow of Death?) and a long procession of American soldiers were walking toward me, still in battle fatigues with their rifles. They were shuffling around in panic, lost in the darkness, and I had to rescue them and calm them down and lead them through the valley to me. As I herded them together, a white, bright star shined above me and I raised my staff and off we all went, rising up toward the bright light. I'm not even religious and I am way too humble to think of myself as an angel or guardian. What the Hell? Should I put good use to it in a story?

Sure, give it a shot. I think you're going to have to add a lot of stuff to it, but it sounds like a great seed for a story. Don't be afraid to change the dream to fit your story, though.
Good luck!
(-:That's the nice thing about being a writer -- even a horrendous fever can be bring turned to good use.

I think that anytime that your brain is going through stress or something different than your normal routine, it will fire neurons in strange places and come up with weird dreams (just don't let them take over in the day time). Your dream is wonderful because it shows how you feel about yourself. You think with a heroes heart. Your would help people, soldiers, children out of the darkness. And maybe, most of all, your dream speaks of a dormant desire to help people, to be a guiding light and you can do all of this through your writing.

As a writer, you probably have noveled a gross of articles and events from all over the world. Your brain has been exposed to the grim visions of chaotic right and left wars, lost souls, distorted beliefs. I would like to think that you are being granted some sort of a mission from ABOVE to use your writing ability to save as much as you could from uncertainties and lead them to a path of PEACE.

i believe you were sent to lead people out of darkness. the Lord said, " i am a light unto this world" although he is the light, he needs you to be the one it shines through. the star represented God or Jesus and you taking them there was a sign that you were ment to be a leader in Christ. The fact they were fighting in a war and with fatigue and all was plainly that they neede to be shown a way out of death. ( Satan). You arent an angel, i promise, men can not be angels no matter what people think. its in the Bible. you were there to be the way out of an eternity of hell. God used you in your dreams to show you what could become of you and how great you could be if you choose him as Lord and Savior. Maybe it is time to become religious!

Sounds like a great idea. I really think you should make something out of it. It would appeal to a lot these days. So good luck at it.

From what i will assemble its a bad subject. possibilities slip away, tearing your hopes out of your carry close, and leaving you wailing over the sadness of needs. forced to fulfill emergencies which will denote spirits(or want religious nourishment?) long demanding paintings with out repayment.
