If so, who/what/where were you, and how did you recall it? Spontaneously, under hypnosis, or some other way, eg., in a dream . . .

My son, at age three, told me he was a fighter pilot in the war- gave his name, (Not his current name), the year he died, and many more details. I am still floored by the fact that he said he died of a puncture would to his back. It just so happens, he has a birthmark there . . . weird!!

I'm curious if anyone else recalls a past life and would like to share their story.

Children often recall past lives. We forget as we grow older. As a young child I told my mother about my other parents, and I remember her saying that I should never tell anyone, or I would burn in hell. (Bless her heart, devout Baptist that she was).

I had a friend that was hurt in a car accident and was in a coma. He dreamed he was a soldier during the civil war, and he was riding a raft down a river to return to his post (Fort Chaffey, Arkansas). He later did some research, and although he had never heard of Ft Chaffey, he located it and found the regiment to which he dreamed he belonged.

Usually past lives are recalled with the idea in mind to go into a self induced hypnosis and recall details.

There have been many books on the matter. Raymond Moody, life after life. Even some of the Edgar Cayce material talks about past lives. There have been several television shows and articles in Reader's Digest about this phenomena.

Please don't criticize him for this or do anything else but praise him for it.
This is a past life regression it is common for young children and may be the reason for imaginary playmates
Adults have to do this by means of hypnosis and it is some times used to find out where certain kinds of behavior started. keep a log of what he says and it may be handy some day.
I understand some peoples concern with this as reincarnation is not now a part of the christian ethic. but at one time for about 400 years into the christian era it was.
do not be too surprised if at this point in time he speaks a foreign language. Most pilots were college men and pilots often spoke the language the was common in their host country. ask him if he was married, had kids, where he lived. what his unit was, what he flew.
I did a personal regression and got information that i took to Bismark to the dept of vital statistics. using the date The lady gave me a copy of the death certificate. she asked if this was a relative and I told her that this was MINE. It blew her mind....

It’s actually not uncommon at all for many young children to recall past lives. Most adults just dismiss the information as overactive imagination.

It might be interesting to record the details that your son is telling you so that he has the information available to him later in his life. Many people find it comforting to know that you never really “die”.

Another interesting bit information is that many people find that birthmarks are often linked to past life wounds. It’s as if some part of us hasn’t fully healed.
