If you know anything about science you will know that evolution does not fall under true science, in fact it remains a theory. Theory is not the same as fact evidently.
Please give me one substantially convincing reason why anyone should embrace this theory of evolution when there is no proof and it doesn't follow a true scientific method.
It might seemingly be able to explain a great number of phenomenons in this universe and on planet earth but ultimately it is unverified, unreplicable, and the number of unanswered questions of substance far outweight the answers which have been assumed and deduced by this apparent rational, logical, philosophical theory. In fact all it does it satisfies the conscience of some but to me it offers no explanation to existance.
The more I study the harder it becomes to believe. People in my field force themselves to believe as if they badly want it to be true. Let's face it, evolution is science fiction

Oh... sorry... so scientific theory makes a theory less of a theory and more of a fact
Nice, very smart.
All the other theories, scientific or otherwise are still theories, at best guesses, based on assumption.
They might be very well thought out, or calculated, by brilliant minds and men of great intellectual capacity but essentially they are a guess. I guess you wouldn't know what that is would you? It means it's not a fact. Which means you have to hope that it's true. Which means you either believe it or you don't. This makes it a religion and not a true science.

Now I understand what gets most of you upset.
Its because if evolution is wrong, then what is right? If evolution is a guess accepted as a law for the sake of contructing knowledge on then it must all crumble when the guess is exposed as having no substance.

If you really wanted to prove evolution was true you only had to point me to one hands on piece of evidence that can show the big bang ever occurred. Until then it is all deduction and interpretation of the current state of this universe and extrapolations of brilliant minds working to explain something that goes beyond grasp from the perspective of a minute moment in time.

You are right.A theory is is just theory until it is proofed.God gave gifts to man and a free will, the way they use those gifts are up to them. But that's O.K. because in there search they just may find that God really does exist.

The popular use and scientific use of the term "theory" are very different! A scientific theory, resulting from the application of the scientific method, is an explanation for a phenomenon or set of phenomena based on extensive evidence and testing. The scientific method is a well-recognized and well-defined series of steps used to acquire an explanation for observed phenomena. A preliminary generalization, or hypothesis, is formed on the basis of careful observation of the phenomenon being studied. This hypothesis is then tested by further observations and experiments. If the information gathered from observations and experiments over time satisfies the conditions of the hypothesis, the hypothesis eventually becomes accepted as a scientific theory. For example, the atomic theory of matter states that matter is composed of particles called atoms in various arrangements. The theory of evolution is the only explanation for the origin of life that accounts for the fossil, anatomical, molecular (including genetic), behavioral and geological evidence. Although they continue to argue over the details of exactly how the various mechanisms of evolution operate, biologists long ago concluded that evolution happens. This is because evolution explains all of the evidence far better than all other proposed explanations for the origin of life.

Sure can. Look up "scientific theory", which is what the Theory of Evolution is. In fact, I'll be nice enough to do the work for you.
"A theory is more like a scientific law than a hypothesis. A theory is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based upon proven hypotheses and verified multiple times by detached groups of researchers...In general, both a scientific theory and a scientific law are accepted to be true by the scientific community as a whole. Both are used to make predictions of events. Both are used to advance technology."
Enough said.

Let me rephrase what you wrote and think about it:
..........................................................................................
If you know anything about religion you will know that Christianity is only one in thousands of religion, in fact it remains a theory. Theory is not the same as fact evidently.
Please give me one substantially convincing reason why anyone should embrace this theory of Christianity when there is no proof that God exists.
It might seemingly be able to explain how the universe and our planet came to be but ultimately it is unverified, delusional, and the number of unanswered questions of substance far outweight the answers which have been assumed and deduced by this apparent rational, logical, philosophical theory. In fact all it does it satisfies the conscience of some but to me it offers no explanation to existance.
The more I find out about the Bible the harder it becomes to believe. People who go to church force themselves to believe as if they badly want it to be true. Let's face it, Christianity is fiction.
......................................................................................................
Interesting huh? If you are a Christian this wont make sense to you. Because you dont want it to.
Yes, it is a theory, based on FACTS, STUDIES and ANALYSIS. Not based on a book.

A theory does not equal a scientific theory. Most elements of evolution have been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, and some are merely nods at what is obviously the truth. On the other hand, the alternative is believing a giant invisible white man zapped everyone here.

you have a warped view of science. here are some other things that are 'just a theory'
general relativity
quantum mechanics
plate tectonics
cell theory
germ theory of disease
atomic theory
stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis
big bang cosmology
do you want to ignore all those too or is it just the ones that you think are in conflict with your religious beliefs?
you say that evolution 'offers no explanation to existance'. do any of the others? can you demonstrate that a scientific theory ought to be able to solve all problems of existence in the way you suggest?
a good scientific theory describes, explains, organises and predicts facts within a certain domain of knowledge. evolution does this just as well as any of the theories above, and perhaps better than most: "Nothing in Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution" - Theodosius Dobzhansky (1900-1975)
http://www.2think.org/dobzhansky.shtml
you may note that dobzhansky was a devout christian, even described himself as a creationist, yet accepted the evidence supporting evolution. he was not unique in this either. this makes the idea of evolution as a vast atheist conspiracy somewhat difficult to believe.
EDIT you said "If you really wanted to prove evolution was true you only had to point me to one hands on piece of evidence that can show the big bang ever occurred." this statement demonstrates more than any other your complete ignorance of science. evolution is a theory in BIOLOGY, the study of life on earth. the big bang is a theory in ASTRONOMY, the study of objects in the sky, far removed from earth. if you wanted to talk about the big bang, you should have asked a question about the big bang. your inability to ask the right question doesn't demonstrate a darned thing other than your ignorance.
ok, so you want evidence for the big bang. firstly, distant galaxies are receding, and the velocity of recession increases linearly with distance. secondly, the cosmic background radiation can be measured and is the same intensity everywhere in the sky (to within several parts per million). together these facts are explained by the theory that the whole universe was once very hot and dense and subsequently expanded, i.e. a big bang. the abundance of elements in the universe is also predicted well by the big bang theory: it predicts mostly hydrogen, some helium and a tiny bit of lithium. primordial interstellar gas clouds have almost exactly this composition. you can read nasa's website for more details:

I'm sure you are aware that many words can have dual, or even multiple meanings.
A "scientific theory" has a different meaning within "mainstream scientific principles and understandings", than it does to the laymans use of the word "theory".
So your incorrect assumptions have offered no valid argument against the "scientific" description of evolution. It is clear you have NO knowledge in the field, yet you are willing to attempt to discredit something of which you know nothing about.
You have instantly lost all credibility and your hidden agenda is clearly exposed. How dishonest and ignorant of you..!

i think of you have a element there.. As a biology pupil I do have faith in evolution!! Why do some human beings think of that we are better than different species besides.. some species have been in the international many some years till now us and are probably greater adapted to stay right here too. We signify an exceedingly small fraction of the time the earth has existed.

A list of notable theories is on the link below. If you want to introduce "Intelligent Design" as an alternate theory to the Theory of Evolution and do not introduce alternative "Intelligent Theories" to all the other theories on this link, it would be the height of hypocrisy.
If you want a sensible answer to this question, I suggest you post it in the Biology section.

Please give me one substantially convincing reason why anyone should embrace this theory of creationism when there is no proof and it doesn't follow a true scientific method? This excludes using your Bible or a church sponsored website. Alas, I am not that gullible.
EDIT- I noticed in all that editing, you didn't answer my question? I am shocked.
EDIT- If you can't come up with one reason, I will accept "I have absolutely no proof that creationism is a valid theory." I'm easy like that. There is plenty of evidence that evolution exists. If you are not smart enough to search evolution in Y!A, then why would I waste my time explaining it for the umpteenth time? You have yet to give one piece of evidence for creationism.

No matter how dumb evolution could possibly sound and no matter how many holes you find, creationism is 10x dumber and has 10x as many holes. NO ONE KNOWS, every idea describing the origins of the universe and life is a theory, ALL OF EM. So until we can prove any of them true, which will never happen, let's stick with the one that makes the most sense.
