I hate my job. I went into this job under the advice of the HR manager. She recommended I get a job in customer service call center to move up in my company. I would have to stay in this job for a year and its been 3 months and I am just fed up. I work in the web support area which means I help people navigate the site and use online tools. I work for a health insurance company. The site goes down daily and I get yelled at and the pay for this is rediculous!! I can't even enjoy my weekends without thinking of this job or enjoy my evenings when I get off everyday!! I want to quit so badly, but need the income for paying my rent and bills..I have applied so many places and no luck. It s-cks you go to college and can't even get a job!! I feel trapped. I get depressed when I think of going to that job every morning. The thought of quitting is comforting to me. I was thinking of quitting and taking a small loan until I found another job to support me for the time..what do you think?

I can almost feel your agony. I'm 15k in debt right now and that bill will only go up. I'm only junior in college, and it feels like whether I complete college or not, it's still a dead end. I am currently interning at a small company and they're having me do cold calling. The thing I disliked about my job is that I hate cold-calling. I know tons of ways to get business, but cold-calling is not one of them. The thing that keeps me going to work everyday is the extremely flexible hours and a boss who is always supportive and willing to train. Either way, I doubt I will get any clients through cold-calling.

In your situation, I would recommend staying in the job until you find a new one. 1) You never know when you'll find another job. 2) You might hate your next job even more. 3) Small loans can add up real quick.

just keep thinking that this too shall pass. It's better to work in a job you hate and pay the bills while you try to find something else, then live off a loan and pray to find a job. Don't quit until you find something else because it might take you longer than you think. Also, try very hard not to let your job take over your life and make you miserable. Try to enjoy your time away and not even worry about work until Monday. Hope this helps :)

If you want to quit, make sure you have a replacement first. There might be a longer delay in finding a job than you expect & then you'll be in a bad spot.

My thought is either stick it out knowing that the future is brighter than the present....OR look for another job.... OR talk to the HR manager & let her know that this isn't for you & ask if you can transfer to something else even if it means sacrificing a promotion in the short run.

Try your best to fax and email resumes, then if you are called in for interview, try to take time off to go. Hopefully you can get a better job and tell this job to shove it.

What kind of moving up is customer service? That is usually bottom of the barrel That is what I am doing right now and I am on the bottom of the food chain. I answer phones for a merchant service.

Well, I don't know much about handling a job. I'm a teenage. But, common sense is, if you don't like it. Find another job. When you find that other job, than quit. If not than I suggest you get a punching bag, or find something to relive your stressed in. As for the small loan, depends on your new job. Your other job maybe worst than the other one. Try to deal with it, if you see that there is no way, than try your other option.

Man any technical support job or Customer service job sucks. All I can say is make the best of it. Keep applying for other jobs and hopefully one will make you feel better.

Until then, take a shot of alcohol before you go in everyday, might make things a bit funner lol.

No job is worth going through what you are going through. It is time for to find another job no matter what. You are forgetting something you hate this job so much that you can not be giving it 100% and your employer probably also sees it and this could very well lead to you being fired so leave on your terms and do it now.

i'd think of that for 7 money an hour, you ought to artwork very almost everywhere for comparable pay. if your interest is innovations-numbingly uninteresting and you may not wait till the tip of the day, next summer season ought to not come rapid adequate. seek for some thing else on your spare time. once you hit upon a job you may tolerate, grab it. i does not tell the hot corporation which you intend to provide up next summer season. save that a secret.

IF YOU SEE IT AS JUST A JOB IT WILL MAKE THINGS A LITTLE BIT BETTER, DON'T LOOK AT IT AS THE JOB YOU HATE.
NOW DO NOT QUIT TILL YOU HAVE SOMETHING LINE UP, BUT THAT WAY I SEE IT JUST HAVE SOME SELF DISCIPLINE AND DO IT.
LIFE IS NOT FAIR AND ALL GOOD THING ALWAYS COMO WITH A SMALL OR BIG SACRIFICE.
A HAD SHOULDER SURGERY AND I HAD TO GIVE UP ON A BAD *** JOB.
DID I SIT AND CRY NO .
REMEMBER THIS
IT IS ME THAT MAKES THE SH1T NOT THE SH1T MAKES ME.
I WAS A BAD A$S BEFORE THIS AND I WILL BE A BAD A$S AFTER THIS....

AND THAT IT..
