Hypnotherapy is a wonderful way to relax, combat stress and to get good quality sleep.
You can be taught self hypnosis by going to see a Hypnotherapist or get a self help CD (or download)

You will find a lot of useful information on the following pages http://www.hypnotherapistregister.com/Stress%20Management.htm

The benefits can be enormous. Good luck.

I used to have that problem. What worked for me is if i slowly started turning down the volume on the TV each night, until eventually it was silent. When you go the first night with the TV completely turned off, it helps to have a small night light at first to help you get used to not having the light of the TV. Hope this works for you.

Yah its somewhat weird however you can try something better if you really wanted to have a good night sleep so instead of turning your tv on better try an all natural product like sleep so good. The product is made from natural ingredients and it has no adverse side effects aside from the fact that it is safe and effective to use. So if you wanted to know more about the product just try to find it here http://www.sleepsogood.com/.

thats not weird at all i have the same problem to i can never sleep ! and i need the tv to fall asleep to but some times the reason why you cant sleep is that ive found out becuase if theres to much stress on you or on your mind or if you had to much caffine that day or becuase you sleep so late you have to stay up late.....im sugestiong if thats any of you problems try to fix it.....but the tv thing if thats the thing that makes you fall asleep quick instead of laying hours in the dark make shure you sett it to timer...and make shure your comfortable..... those could be reson to why you dont get good night sleeps ...i know how you feel you go to bed so late and you stilll wake up exauahsted in the morning and sumetimes you might be in akes in pains to .... maybe ask a doctor ...or clear your mind... hopethis helps

Try reading a book until you get sleepy or if that doesnt work, try waking up earlier in the morning and dont take any naps during the day so that you will be sleepier when you go to sleep that night and even if that doesnt work, try taking a warm bath and then drinking a glass of milk afterwards.

I know what you mean, I do the same thing with music. Maybe try lowering the volume on the tv slowly. One night keep it the same, the next two a little lower.. a little lower the next two, etc. Then put the tv on mute for a while. After that, substitute it with a bright light. Then a smaller one.. I think you get the picture.

try to set a sleep timer on your tv so that it turns off while you are already asleep. having the tv on could actually be a disturbance to your sleep- for instance, i dream about whatever is on tv if I leave my tv on by accident at night. try taking a natural sleep aid, like melatonin (can be found in the vitamin section of most pharmacies), or a bedtime tea that'll make you sleepy. hope that helps!

My husband loves to sleep with the tv on but it always wakes me up so what i do is set the sleep timer on the tv and it goes off after a couple of hours so it doesn't wake me up.

it particularly is quite a no-brainer, supply up putting out which comprise your nocturnal friends lots. possibly shop the nighttime existence for fri. or Saturday nighttime. Get your self in a habitual of going to mattress at 10 or 11pm and upward push up approximately 7:30 or 8:00 am. 7-8 hours of sleep is a lot. You sleep to long and you'd be sluggish the the remainder of the day.

wow i was the same way
i overcame this by:
1) lowering the sound first
2) then turn it onto a blue screen or something very boring
3) then put 2 nightlites, yes 2, to simulate a tv a lil bit
4) and finally i did this and i dont need the tv on anymore

try it for a while

dont give up

best of luck to u =)
