more like sitting with your thumb up your butt theory.
Please show me any scientific backing to this theory. I doubt you can find one, it is only there to appease the religious in the USA it has nothing scientific in it.

Earl: there isn't a 50/50 percent chance, what is is. it's not like picking a the left or right hand as it is the answer is always constant, it never switches hands, so there is no luck to me being right, and you being wrong.
I Imagine 1000 years from now they might draw cartoons of you in a dunce cap, if you are even important enough for that.

I believe that it is a misnomer as it is neither intelligent, or a theory. I'm going to bet at least one person will send you to a church based website or the Bible to "prove" it.

Intelligent design offers no testable hypotheses and, instead, offers only an explanation for observations of complex structures and phenomena in biology that must be taken on faith. As such, it offers less to a science class than does "flat-Earth theory" or "Earth-as-the-center-of-the-solar-system theory," both of which led to testable hypotheses and, ultimately, their rejection as predictive explanatory theories. If we were to consider intelligent design a "theory," the advances in genetics and developmental biology that have provided explanations for the origin of many complex structures in recent years would lead us to reject it along with flat-Earth theory and geocentrism.
The science of evolutionary biology embodies a broad body of theory (not a single theory, as so often depicted by opponents) and scientists have now tested hypotheses derived from these theories for 150 years. In that time, many hypotheses have been tested and rejected. For example, Darwin didn't understand the role genes and chromosomes play in inheritance, so his theories about inheritance have been replaced by new ones that offer more explanatory power. In fact, many of Darwin's ideas about evolution have been greatly modified in this way. Just as our understanding of physics has been altered dramatically since Newton, by the discoveries of Einstein and other physicists, so has our understanding of evolution been altered by the advances in biology since Darwin.
Yet biologists, from all their many disciplines, still find evolution to provide a unifying perspective from which to pursue a greater understanding of life. As one of the 20th century's most famous geneticists, Theodosius Dobzhansky, wrote, "Nothing in biology makes sense, except in the light of evolution."

I'm guessing that you're referring to Intelligent Design? ID is nothing more than non-biblical creationism. ID says that life apparently had some intelligent help getting started but it doesn't claim to know who or what that intelligence may come from.
I don't agree that it appeases the religious since it contradicts their beliefs.

Are you taking about intelligent design?
What I don't get is that if evolution is so true why do evolutionists complain about creationism and intelligent design being taught in schools. Our children are intelligent. If the facts of evolution are so overwhelming then, if the 3 theories are presented, they would choose evolution.

I see you have your father's name on your avatar.
Please let me know where the first cell came from - you know the one at the base of Darwin's tree. Darwin ignored it and never answered it, and his most ardent follower Dawkins has never given any satisfactory answer to it to this day. Further, no evolutionist or scientist has every satisfactorily explained it - for some reason their intellectual prowess falls short on this answer.
It takes a lot more faith to believe in science as a rule of life when they live a lot on guesswork and hypothesis than it does to believe in a Creative Intelligence fashioning a world for us to live in.
Rest assured that there will not be one single person who will stand face to face with a Holy and Righteous judge and say they don't believe in Creative intelligence when the universe is called before Him in judgment. His creative genius and power will not be challenged or doubted on that day by anyone of any persuasion!
EDIT: FOREVER AND ETERNALLY I GET THE SAME NON RESPONSE TO MY QUESTION ABOUT THE CELL.
ONLY ONE PERSON ATTEMPTED TO ANSWER BY SENDING ME TO A WEBSITE WHERE THERE WAS A BUNCH OF PRO EVOLUTIONIST DOGMA - NONE OF WHICH ADDRESSED THE QUESTION RATIONALLY OR WITHOUT BIAS.
