Just about every culture talks about a great flood whether it was Noah or some other story. Marine life has been found in some very odd places. Are you positive about the pyramids? You might check facts on that as well. This is my way of answering. Hope it helps.

It has already been shown that all of the land we see today has been underwater at some point in the past, but beyond human memory. It would be a safe bet that what is today at the bottom of the ocean likewise would have been dry ground at those days long ago, and therefore remain undisturbed, and also undiscovered. There is a cave in Nardo, Italy and also one in Lauscalle, France, where the remains of many ancient animals have been found tumbled and jumbled together; the current theme is thought to be flooding of a continental scale back in the dinosaur times resulted in the remains of both plant and flesh eaters taking refuge from the rising waters together, yet drowning at the same point in time.

actually, there are whale remains found inland, and there are marine fossils on the highest mountains. i don't think it means the flood happened (plate tectonics and variations in sea level with ice age cycles can explain it quite nicely) but you've got your facts wrong there sorry. for example:

on the other hand the point about the pyramids is a good one i think. one wonders how many of noah's grandsons helped out to build the great pyramid.

I beleive that a flood did happen, did it flood the whole earth no.
You also have to rememeber that when the bible story of the flood was written most if not all people thought the world was flat.. And they were limited to their knowledge themself as to how much the earth was flooded. To them it must have been the whole earth and may have just been the area where they were..

This is my question from earlier today:
Are Christian "Left Behind," academicly, that is?
Some one here told me that Noah used small animals to populate the Ark. Is that what would pass for scholarship at say; Harvard Divinity School. Would someone at Baylor or Notre Dame write a thesis titled: "The Inherent Difficulties of Maritime Cargo Lading Coupled with Time Dependent Embarkation Demands and the Subsequent Scramble to Find Small Animal Specimens." Now I would read that!

That's because, the " whole earth " was only the area that was spoken about in the bible. They didn't map the whole world at that time. So when they only saw flood water from one horizon to the next, they assumed the whole earth was flooded.
Remember, these guys didn't have the Internet. They could check the weather channel and see what the weather was like in Japan.
best wishes.

although i believe almost everything in the bible is BS, many different civilizations HAVE reported a massive floods occuring in the past but not all making it all big one. not saying a guy name Noah really took all of the animals and but them on a boat, but i think marine animals and other animals would be able to find a way to survive in the case of a flood. because hey, floods occur all over the world and local animals still survive so that is why they werent swept away in the floods. but i believe marine animals wouldnt all die out because they would still be in the water.

Whales swim soo umm as long as they can reach the surface well umm they can not die. A flood to that magnatude would open up faults in the earths crust they would actually move land like a lilly pad on a pond. And when the waters receded well the remains would float into the sea with the water.

The legged ancestors to the whales can be found in the Sahara and Pakistan. Some inland sites were oceans 50 million years ago.

first of all you couldn't be more wrong about no marine life being found inland in fact I just read an article about how they found a whale in Italy and that's just one of many so check your facts. Also, they have found fish fossils on mountain tops so unless they flew up there...... :-D
