Ok, I dont know exactly what its about, but it talks about the gathering of certain things in the end days. My Uncle mentioned it and he couldnt remember. It came up cause we've been seeing alot of things we've never seen before, or in larger numbers. Like, this year we've both seen mass racoons, opossums, etc. And, theres a new thing we've been seeing alot of, and thats Ravens. Neither of us have seen a Raven till this year, which is why the passage came up. But no one can seem to remember its location.

Also, where does it say the devil is an actual being? Cause my uncle is dead set that if you take the translation in Hebrew, Devil or Satan means adversary. And if you take that meaning into any passage I could find, it means a person. Like when Satan fell from heaven, it was Lucifer falling from his kingship, and Lucifer is a name used for satan. Thats just one example.

I dont know if I believe that satan is just a person who is bad influence or whatever. I still lean towards a being that influences us more then a human. I mean, if your thinking of something bad, then you start thinking its bas and thinking of not doing it, its God helping you, but if you then think against it thinking its good to do bad, why would that be you thinking that knowing of God? Its like an influence or something. Plus if you make a good choice God made it, and if its bad, its you. It doesnt make sense to me.

(Jesus talked about Satan in the New Testament as a person. And don't forget that Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness.

Also, note that when Jesus said that He saw Satan cast down, no one said: "Who?")

If it was an adversary, it couldve been a person tempting him. Like a high up person, such as, "if you bows before me, all you see will be yours", it could logicailly be the King of then, and if Jesus bowed, the king would not only discredit Jesus, but he would have the power to give him the land.

And if Satan was cast down, it could easily mean a person.

Interesting; did you try Revelations? I'll have to take a look and see if I can find it.

Also, your uncle is correct; Satan means "adversary"...nothing more, nothing less.

This, to me, is an interesting article about the end times. http://contenderministries.org/prophecy/endtimes.php

In mainstream Christianity's understanding of the holy Hebrew scriptures, the Torah, Satan is a synonym for the Devil. For most Christian sects, he is believed to be an angel who rebelled against God— and also the one who spoke through the serpent and seduced Eve into disobeying God's command. His ultimate goal is to lead people away from the love of God — to lead them to fallacies which God opposes. Satan is also identified as the accuser of Job, the tempter in the Gospels, the secret power of lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians 2:7, and the dragon in the Book of Revelation. Before his alleged insurrection, Satan was the highest of all angels and the "brightest in the sky." His pride is considered a reason why he would not bow to God as all other angels did, but sought to rule heaven himself. The popularly held beliefs that Satan was once a prideful angel who eventually rebels against God, however, are barely portrayed in the Bible and are mostly based on traditions (see Lucifer). Moreover, in mainstream Christianity he is called "the ruler of the demons" (Matt. 12:24), "the ruler of the world" and even "the god of this world." (2Cor. 4:4). The Book of Revelation describes how Satan will be cast out of Heaven, down to the earth, having "great anger" and waging war against "those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus". Ultimately, Satan is thrown into the "lake of fire" (Revelation 20:10), not as ruler, but as one among many, being treated no different than all the others who have been cast there as well.

As far as animals gathering, I don't remember any verse telling us of this. If someone comes up with one, I'd sure like to see it.

The gathering you are talking about is probably in Revelation 16:16 "And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon."

There are other verses that describe lucifer's pride and fall. And yes, Lucifer is our adversary in the Bible, but pay-day is coming.

Satan is not a human. He was an angel that fell, never born into mortality because of his rebellion.
