If you are truly saved you cannot loose it.
You see by the following that salvation is a free gift, meaning no conditions. If you could loose it then it is conditional and not free.

Ephesians 2 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Here's another good one for you:

John 10 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one."

Once completely saved a person cannot lose their salvation! But salvation is a process, not a one time thing & that's all there is to it!
You must endure unto the end. Matt. 24:13. Also read Romans 10:9-10, at the end of verse 9 it says thou shalt be saved. And in verse 10 it says "is made unto salvation"
Why would we be told in Ephesians 6:11-18 to put on the "whole armour of God" if everything was done for us instantly?
Paul himself say he didn't count himself to have apprehended (in other words he hadn't made it yet) so he pressed on! Philippians 3:13-14.
Read Luke 9:62 it speaks for itself!
We are to grow in the grace & knowledge of Jesus Christ. 2nd Pet. 3:18.
Read 2nd Pet.2:20-22. Also read Revelation 22:14-15; also Revelation 21:7-8. Notice in verse 7 it says we are to overcome!
In Romans 5:9 we are justified by His blood. Justified means we are made right by His blood cleaning us up of our past sins. But remember in Acts 2:38 it says to "repent" or turn from sin. Also the last part of Romans 5:9 says "we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Also read verse 10. This is a very deep subject. If you like I will direct you to a website which has books you can read online which will answer these questions much better than I can here & will open your eyes to things you haven't seen before. You would be amazed!

Yes, once a person saved they can lose their salvation. Simply that it is lifestyle and relationship which requires us to live in this relationship

Ezekiel 3:20-21
20 "Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself."

Ezekiel 18:24

"But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.

Some say that when we are baptize with the Spirit, the New Testament says that we are "sealed" which they feel means that there is no way we can, however sealing does not mean sealed against loss, it means sealed as authoritative - one is given the backing of the one they are sealed too - like an ambassador from another country.

Yet in John 17:12 says,

12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

In its context Jesus says that none who are trully saved can not be lost. However we look at it, God calls us to a relationship, So how does this sum up what you are asking. It is this:

Once saved, and sanctified the Christian continues to grow in the grace of God. This shows that we must continuously grow in the love of God, however, if we willfully choose to disobey God, then we are turning around and going the opposite direction, this is harder than it seems, while it does occur, and has occurred, once we begin going against God's decrees we continue to sin in worse and worse ways, all of what God is doing yells at us, and the Holy Spirit continues to convict us, and God sends witnesses to convict us, and if we continue to do so having vehemently denied His grace, and living in sinful relationships and thus dies - he forfeits everlasting life. How, is unthinkable that after tasting the good things of God that he would turn from God and go the opposite direction is unthinkable

conclusion - we should so dwell if one can - we should so dwell on growing in grace and love of God and in that relationship, and we should love of our neighbor as our self. If we did this which is the more important - I believe we would see less turning away from the faith in Christ. I will say to one yes it is possible, however very difficult, but not impossible, but dont dwell on what could be lets dwell on how great we can come in His grace by His grace and for His grace.

The salvation that the Lord Jesus has paid the highest price for us to have is not easily lost.
When we are saved or regenerated by God He is determined to complete what He has started in us.
Phillipians 1:6
" Being CONFIDENT of this very thing, that He who has begun in you a Good work WILL COMPLETE IT until the day of Christ Jesus."

The God we serve is not at all like man. He completes what He begins and He is the Righteousn One to STAND by His word to us. He does not lie. We can be confident in this fact.

At the end of the Book of Matthew the Lord said something very precious to us.
Matthew 28:20
" Teaching them to observe all tht I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all the days until the consumation of the age"

As a believer you cannot loose what was given to you from God. He has faithfully begun a WORK in us. It is this Work in us through the operating of the Holy Spirit that we NEED to pay attention to.
The HOly Spirt is in us to help to transform us inwardly. To conform us to the Image of Christ.
This takes our whole lifetime and the Lord is in us to make sure this happens

IF for some reason we are not transformed during our lifetime and the Lord comes then as believers we will have to go through the Great Tribulation in order to be transformed.
If we happen to die before the Lord returns and we are not transformed , then during the 1000 Year Millenium reign of the Kingdom at the turn of the age, instead of enjoying this time of glory with the Lord we will be in the " outer darkness" where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The outer darkness is NOT hell... It is a place where believers will have to go in order to be ripened and transformed by the Lord. This is a serious matter and it is a shame it is not shared more amongst brothers and sisters in christianity.

Matthew 8:12
But the sons of the kingdom will be cast into the outer darkness. In that place where there will be the weeping and gnashing of teeth

Matthew22:13
Then the King said to the servant, Bind his feet and hands and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Matthew 25:30
And cast the useless slave into the outer darkness. In that place where there is the weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Hell is different from this place.. In Hell there is the fire that burns forever and the worms do not die. People are torturned in hell.. Even satan..when he is finally cast into hell along with the antichrist and the dragon and false prophet WILL BE TORTURNED forever. Unfortunately if man sides with satan he too will suffer the same as satan will for eternity...

As a place.. the Outer Darkness will be filled with weeping ( regrets) and gnashing ( remorse) over the wasted years of our lifetime where we could have given the Lord the way to transform our souls.. instead we chose to live by the flesh.. love the soul life and love the world and the things in it. We were like the foolish virgins who had the oil in the lamp ( the Holy Spirit in our spirits) but DID NOT get the extra oil in the vessel ( Did not let the Holy Spirit work and spread into their souls to transform the soul which is a vessel to contain God)

At the end of the 1000 year reign of the Kingdom ... all the believers who were in the outer darkness will be joined with the ones who paid the price to be transformed IN their lifetime in eternity. Where we will be the Wife of the Lamb.
Only those who were ready would be in the Wedding feast .. they had the right garment on ( matthew 22)
The ones who did not open up their beings to the inner stitiching work of the Spirit within them did not qualify to enter into this feast.

Revelation 14:15
And another angel came out of the temple and cried out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, Send forth Your sickle an reap, for the hour to reap has come because the harvest of the earth is ripe."

Do we loose our salvation
NO..
But will we be dispensationally disciplined by the Lord? YES
So sister..
do not let your heart be discouraged too much.
This bible we have needs to be read through and through so we are not left out in the dark

may the Lord strengthen you ..so that you WILL BE a part of the bride of Christ.. a part of the early overcomers and firstfruit.
Do not wait to be the harvest.. be one of the ripened firstfruit during your lifetime amen

Sorry for being so long:)

In Christ

Once you are truly saved, you cannot lose your salvation. Scripture makes it very clear when we are saved. "He who endures to the end, he shall be saved". Such verses indicate that earthly life is the road to salvation, but that salvation is not actually attained until earthly life is completed. Protestants like to speak in terms of "being saved" here and now. And when one of their brethren turns his back on God and walks away from it all, they say "well, he wasn't really saved". Right!! And neither is anyone else! Earthly life is about staying on the road to salvation, and returning to it whenever we wander away from it, through repentence, so that eventually we will reach the end of this journey, and receive salvation.

No. However, I do believe there can be people who either: 1. Think they are saved, but are really not....or 2. Be saved, but go through a very long period of rebellion and struggle

According to my understanding of the Scriptures I would say YES!
There are many Bible texts that could be cited, but I mention only this one: 2nd. Peter 2: 20-22.

There are some backslidder here on R&S...those that say that they were once Christian and now their atheist or other religions. I hope this helps!

Once saved, always saved! And yes I can back it up....
John 10:28-30 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone pluck them out of my hand. My Father who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."

Define saved. It varies in different sects. Could someone lose their soul's immortality? No. Could they lose their place in Heaven? Sure.
