Try this...

If a person is perfectly "tolerant" then it would be impossible for them to recognize anything as "intolerant" since they would be able to tolerate anything including intolerance.

Beyond that, I think a truly "tolerant" person would be unable accept the concept of exclusive truth. 2+2 would no longer always equal 4 but it could be 7 or 13 or whatever anyone wanted. Personally I like five. 4+4=5 from now on in my mind so don't give me any crap if you don't like my personal views you intolerant bats !!!

I need sleep. Good night all !!!

;)

you raise a valid point that some one who was tolerant should be able to tolerate others intolerance but being tolerant they would know that intolerance is often because of ignorance and there fore most likely not tolerate it and try to convince the intolerant person to understand before they make a judgment

I disagree, 4 + 4 should equal 7.

we all need a place to draw the line that is reasonable
propriety with flexibility seems like a way to sum it up too.
for instance you catch a criminal and try him but with mercy you don't just over look it as that would not do well for society
