There are three possible answers to that prayer, "Yes", "No", and "Wait".

Coincidentaly, that's the same three answers you get if you pray to my toaster oven.

Why would you want them to go away. I believe in God/dess but that doesn't mean that I expect everyone else to believe the way I do. Oh I bet you just want R/S for christians, Right? Well christianity is not the only religion in the world, christians just act like it is and spirituality is beyond religion.
My faith is strong enough to stand up to alittle debating from non-believers but it seems like not everyone's faith is. I suggest that if you are so weak in your faith maybe you should not be on this site.
Mind you I find it funny that atheist actually have anything to do with this site since they do not practice any religion and do not believe in spirituality. Which makes me question their faith in not believing just as much as I question yours.
May you grow stronger in your faith, what ever it may be,
R

God is sovereign and reserves the right to answer any prayer He pleases. Only unless we are in a covenant relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ, we have no basis to expect God will hear us. Neither do Christians have a reason to expect God will hear them, unless they ask in faith. The Syro-Phoenician woman whose daughter was afflicted by a demon is one example of someone who got here prayer answered, even though she was an outsider - which at that time was a Gentile - a non-Jew.

Possibly. But I am not sure why you would want to. God knows all and I am sure its good to have both sides and hear of others and their beliefs.
