It seems to me PJs are underrated. Not that they need attention and what not but if I went up to a 7 year old boy and said "What's a Navy SEAL" He'll tell me something. If I ask him "What's a USAF Pararescue" He'll stare at me.

In my opinion it is the hardest job to have and the most important. Without them all those downed SEALs would be dead. Their training is HARDER!

Don't you think they should make a movie for these bad***es???

Wow I always thought PJs were underrated too! They are definitely bad-*** and undergo some damn hard training. A friend of a friend is currently in the pipeIine and pretty much has no life anymore, is ridiculously fit and has the most inspiring work ethic I've ever seen. I have never seen a real movie made about these amazing guys but here is a cool myspace video from my friend's page.

Thats because Navy Seals and pretty much all Army and Navy Special Forces Units have an Offensive wartime role, so they are seen as killers...

PJs do not have an offensive fighting role, their job is to recover and provide medical treatment to personnel in humanitarian and combat environments.

Pararescue Creed: It is my duty as a Pararescueman to save life and to aid the injured. I will be prepared at all times to perform my assigned duties quickly and efficiently, placing these duties before personal desires and comforts. These things I do, "That Others May Live.".

No where in that creed does it mention being well known....

They have been in movies; Pararescuemen took part in the rescue of Army Rangers and aircrewmen wounded and killed in helicopter crashes during the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia as recounted in the movie Black Hawk Down.

They're underrated because they're in the Air Force. It comes with the territory. The Air Force makes fun of the Army for being stupid, and we make fun of them for being soft.

BUD/S is billed as the hardest military training known to man, so I kinda doubt PJs have it harder.

I once did a search for movies about the Air Force. I found one, entitles "Air Force". It was made around the same time the Air Force came about.

No doubt they are little known and considered to be good at their job.

But just like the seals had to overcome that fact they came from the navy, the pjs have to overcome the fact that they come from the air force.

Their role is limited. It's important but it is limited. Their mission was given them by Army SF (or should I say taken from) and their methods of doing it were written by Army SF. They're new to the game.

And I should mention their training is from the other services as well. I don't think its harder except that there's more flights to different training posts involved to get it done.

There is no such thing as Navy SF, Navy SOF are the Seals.

Very thrilling! i individually relate with my Jupiter placement, a lot greater suitable than most of the different planets in my chart. I even have constantly had that variety power, no count what the area. in case you're touching on perception psychological growth, that's actually a stated determine in my chart. i think of perhaps the rationalization Jupiter won't be considered to be overly "very own" in Astrology, is by using the fact it lie's exterior of the asteroid belt. notwithstanding, I even have study that it remains in each and every sign for a pair of twelve months, so I do discover it to be a greater very own planet than the different's, a number of which take some years to end a cycle.
