Would Victoria and David Beckham consider immigrants? They are not America citizens yet but that I recall our President wants all immigrants out of the U.S.A. So why is it many Americans argue that they want "Mexicans" out of our country but not the rich immigrants? They are taking away our jobs....for example tax payers are paying a lot of money to have David Backham in the U.S.

So my point is people argue that Mexicans are taking jobs away....while this is a clear answer that people from different country NOT Mexico are taking away our jobs?

Well because since the US is really tighten the opportunity for illegal Hispanics to work or to go to school here they follow the crime career. Not all of them but because of some most "Mexicans" are being criticize as a pest. Famous people that might bring honor or any kind of social controversy is okay by the US.

PS people

Mexicans are not the only ones crossing the border.

No, they are not immigrants, unless the intend to stay here. As far as I know, they are probably only here while David Beckham plays soccer, and neither have permanently given up British citizenship.

I personally do not want "Mexicans" out of the country, but only ILLEGAL ALIENS, no matter what country they originated from.

Also, unless YOU are a professional soccer player, how is he taking your job? He is making millions, paying a TON of taxes, and not costing any one of us a dime in taxes.

After reading this question, I am wondering a few things about you. Are YOU here legally? Have you had any severe blows to the head? (if so, how many?) Are you medicated? If so, I suggest consulting your psychiatrist. If not, I suggest consulting ANY psychiatrist.

The question should be, "Are Victoria and David Beckham immigrants? as there is more than one of them!

As for their legal status, they are not migrating to the States, they will have entered on a type of visa that allows David to play soccer - probably under the entertainment category, if anyone has a sense of humour, although maybe not in Victoria's case!

As with most countries, if you are supporting your self and your family and will not become a burden, then access is always available.

Obviously excluding the likes of Messrs Bin Laden et al

Yes, I do consider they are immigrants but they are rich. Just try to think how much would both of them bring into USA comparing with the other immigrants. President want the mexicans to go just because they are bringing out to much dollars out from state and the number of mexican population is out more compare to other immigrant races. Just wonder the percentage of British immigrants compare to Mexican immigrants. By the way, Beckham is playing for USA soccer rite, and Victoria is entering Hollywood ... so apart from earning they also contributing .. understanding the amount of money they spend in living, clothing and etc contributing into state economic.... anway is vice versa situation but not fair for others...Dont you think life is just hard on the poor... ?

Why is it, that people ignore the word 'illegal' when talking about 'illegal immigrants'?

david + victoria beckham=legal immigrants.. have a work visa
illegal immigrants=self explanatory

if you find an american who wants all immigrants out, im going to be shocked.

americans dont want our legal routes of citizenship to close, we dont want immigrants out of this country, all we want, is the people who chose to break the law, and illegally entered this country out.

its not that 'mexicans' are taking jobs, its the illegal immigrants who are lowering all wages in this country. They arent payed minimum wage... why pay someone $5.25 an hour, when you can have an illegal immigrant work for $3.00?

its amazing to me that the people that say they stand for workers want amnesty to illegals..
its almost like they dont give two shits about workers, they just want the workers votes.
think about it.
how would workers benefit from amnesty for illegal immigrants?

say im working over at johns pool factory...right now, johns pool factory gives me $20 an hour and healthcare.. unemployment in the area is at 4.3 percent (national average).. what do you think would happen when unemployment in my area doubles to 8.6%? why would johns give me healthcare benefits, when there are plenty of other people looking for jobs? they dont have to offer me benefits or even decent pay, because they can afford to replace me.

this is exactly what will happen when we grant amnesty to 20 million illegal immigrants. Wages will bottom, benefits will bottom, because there are other people looking for any jobs.

it floors me.. how can you support workers, and then turn around and support mass amnesty?

It's a question of legal immigration versus illegal immigration. The Beckhams are immigrating in a perfectly legal way. Contrary to your statement, Beckham will not be paid by tax revenue, but by sports revenues. Further more, I would bet he will pay more taxes each year than twice your salary.

what a retarded question. First of all Beckham is not taking away a job from an american, secondly he is not an immigrant, he is a legal resident, who is not giving up his British nationality you can rest assured he has a work permit known as a Green Card which LA Galaxy no doubt filed the paper work for before he EVEN arrived. And who says Beckham has any intention of taking American citizenship he can not play for England if he does that. Lastly the PRESIDENT has never said he wants all immigrants out, in fact quite the opposite he wanted to pass a bill to allow them to stay on work programs.

So I suggest you check up on some facts before you spout this garbage.

Oh and secondly NOT ONE DOLLAR of tax payers money is going to David Beckham where do you get that stupid comment from ?:??

Yes they are immigrants.

LEGAL immigrants.

Illegal immigrants are not, in our mind 'immigrants'. We are fine with legal immigrants.

And the president is pro-amnesty, which you should know, if you care about this issue.

Yes they are immigrants....they are certainly not Americans.
And honestly I don't think they'll be here very long. .

From the way her "reality show" bombed, and I saw on t.v. how they made fun of her skinny, bony body and his sad new team. They'll be buh-bye pretty soon.

hehe difference is that David Beckham can play soccer like nobody else who is in America... thats why we went out to get him. Illegal immigrants who hop the fence don't have many skills that help us trmendously. David and Victoria, if they become American citizens will fall into the category of very rich. Very rich people pay lots of taxes. How much taxes do illegal immigrants pay?
