Omg! I'm 15, and i got the same exact thing and we went to the doctor and they said it was a damaged hair follicle, but then when i'm outside without sunscreen too long it'll come back a little bit, so i don't think thats what it was. I think its maybe just from the sun, so i always put sunscreen on my nose. You may want to check out the damaged hair follicle thing though. It could be what it is. =D

I Forget the name of this but it is a side affect of sunburns and suntanning. If it will easy your anxiety about skin cancer have a doctor look at it.... I have several of them.... two in my hair line... Skin cancer doesn't look red..... Your red spot is probably fairly symmetrical.
Here is a Google site that has photos of skin cancers.

I think that you should go to the doctor right away if you are not sure if it is cancer or not. I have a feeling its not but you should go, it wouldn't hurt. Next time you go out in the sun, cover the area that got burned and do not keep it in the sun for long, because it might be sensitive

Is it red or brownish? It might just be hyperpigmentation. If you picked at your sunburn it might also just be a scar. I would get it checked out either way by a doctor to make sure.

From what I have heard from someone who had cancer is it looks like a scab that won't go away. But that was just one situation. I would recommend going to your doctor.

I doubt its cancer. More likely just a scar if you picked at it.
see a doctor if it really bugs you.
