You feel secure and safe with him. That is great that the 2 of you are that close. He feels this when he is with you, and knows he comforts you :)

There are many scientific answers but it is a proven fact that animals reduce anxiety and stress for most people. This is why training for therapy dogs has become such an important tool. People of all ages in hospitals and especially homes for developmentally challenged individuals benefit greatly from just petting and stroking a dog or any animal and the love and devotion that is returned is very calming and therapeutic.
I am glad you have your little friend to keep you company and help you through some difficult times.

I can't tell you exactly why, but I would guess that you get some sort of soothing from having her beside you.
I, too suffer from terrible anxiety. I can barely leave home. I worry constantly about a fire, or someone breaking in and hurting my dogs. I have panic attacks on the bus. all because I'm not with my dogs. as soon as I'm home, things get better. and, even when I'm home, I still have bad anxiety, but I have found that a really good, intense cuddle with one of them helps a great deal.
unless she has fleas, or you are allergic, I say let her sleep with you. that's harmless, and you both enjoy it.

Your canines, in a manner, has exchange right into a secure practices blanket. it is certainly regularly occurring for somebody with rigidity. I too be stricken by it and discover while it starts to behave up, i will p.c.. up my Guinea pig. i all started doing this with out even thinking. yet, it keeps me calm and concentrated on what i'm doing quite of the rigidity. everyone with anxieties manage them in yet in any different case, which than leads you to "treatment" the emotions in yet in any different case. fortunately you got here upon between the less unfavourable comforts. in case you at the instant are not pleased with the solutions right here, flow flow to a doctor. they'd have the means to describe the courting between you rigidity and your ease consisting of your canines around.

When you love something alot, it comforts you. Th comfort makes your anxiety go away enough to sleep. Try yoga, as well. I can't sleep unless my lab is with me, so I know what you're talking about

Nothing wrong with it we have been sleeping beside our canine friends for thousands of years. They provide comfort for us the same way we do for them.
