Okay!, so I've decided to purchase blank invites from Wal-Mart......What's the next step?????
Also, would it be cheaper to print them out on my pc, or take them to a print shop and have them print them?

you can go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/default.aspx
you can download some invitations already set up and all you have to do is put in your info - I just did this for my wedding. I printed out mine at home and it cost me about $70 for new cartridges and the invitations (about 200) - Kinko's would do it for about $0.20 per invitation if it was in color so it all comes down to how many you have and how much your printers ink costs

It all depends on what you want to do. If you have a program like Printshop, they'll have pre-made layouts you can choose from, or you can design your own invite. If you don't have any software, go to somewhere like party store, bridal shop, Bestbuy, office max, heck, even walmart may have something, and buy a CD with premade layouts, they shouldn't cost much. You can print them out on your printer, if you have a nice color printer, if not, burn your final copy of the invite onto a cd and you can bring it to a print shop, which should be able to do them for like $0.10/invite.

I just did the programs for a friends wedding and I used Microsoft publisher. Then i went to Office Depot, picked the paper I wanted and they printed 110 copies for me and including paper I spent around $40.

So it will probably be worht it to take it to a copy shop once you have the final product. It will save you some aggravation and the cost of innk for your printer.

PS I love Microsoft Publisher and there are a lot of free templates you can download online it makes it so easy! good luck.

Check out the different software discs for making cards and so on. There's some good ones out there.

But, also check the print shop prices.

there's pros and cons in printing your own invitation, pros is that you will spend little and you can surely save and you can make you invitation personalize but the con is that you'll have lots of time doing this thing instead of attending to other stuff. but if you have a lot of time i will surely recommend that you print your own invitation.
