I think they are on a higher place for sure.

Many angels are mentioned. All different types too.Yes allot of people think that angels are all "good" that is were people will get confused because in the bible it says
"Do you not know that we will judge angels? "1 Corinthians 6:3. When people say we are called to judge Angles. It is not all angles. It is evidently the bad angels, who shall be judged when the world is judged. Such as Satan, perhaps the earliest individualization of the fallen Angel. As well it is stated "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."Mathew 25:41

Lets not close our eyes to the word.

We have a vast amount of Angles. Some or messengers of God, Some are his Army,Some are the healers, Some are even our guardian Angles."For He will give His angels charge concerning you,To guard you in all your ways."
Psalm 91:10-12

Infact the Angles that follow God will help judge us. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. Mathew 31:41

Sorry, I really did not want to mention what the bible says about this into my answer. But, I felt compelled to elaborate due to some other comments left.

So odviously now it is very odvious that I do infact belive in Angles. ^^
Blessings To You,
Your Sister In Christ

There is no spiritual plane, however I could answer on angels and humans.

Human is higher in category to God than the angel. The angel was sent by God to guard you as human, so you are the boss of the angel. Do not worship angels. They are messengers of God.

I attended Christian Women's Job Corps in my area and we were taught that angels rank just below humans. I am not really sure where that information comes from though. We also learned that there has always been a specific number of angels created. There will never be more. Never be less created. I find that an interesting concept. If one believes that we ARE spirits who, temporarily, inhabit a physical body, then it could make sense that we are just above angels. Personally, I believe that angels have different tasks assigned to them and that each of us humans have a number of angels caring for us. That is just my personal belief. Generally, I believe the angels were created to tend to us and care for us in all ways. I find it easy to believe in angels, but I do not believe in ghosts and I guess it is because of the connotation we have put on these words. I don't know.

Someone said a long time ago: John " The Baptist " was the greatest man born of woman yet the lowest in heaven were greater than he, given this statement as fact one would have to say that angels were on higher on the spiritual plane than humans.

Angels are higher on the spiritual plane than humans, but not as elevated as God (or Goddess.) Each person has a guardian angel, but then there are other angels besides the guardian angels.

The real answer is a dual one.

Yes the angels are in an existance in a higher plane but humans out rank them so to speak because we are made in Gods image and the angels are not

Somehow I had the impression that Angels were higher than man, but I was wrong. Although the name means "Messenger" I think they would be higher spiritually. I mean they are delivering a message from God himself. And even Jesus believed in angels.

That depends entirely on what you believe. According to Anglo-Christian legend Humans are slightly above the angels and that is why Lucifer became jealous. Also before the flood Angels and humans where making babies together and thats why God sent the flood, and changed angels to non sexual beings, to get rid of the "half-breeds."

Well I think I can best sum it up this way. God did not send his only son, Jesus Christ, to die a horribly painful, humiliating and public death on the cross for an angel ..but for you and me whom He called the children of the Lord Most High. So, what do you think? You might try looking in God's Holy Word for any question relating to this subject. I can tell you that He created man in His own image - not angels -- and gave us free will to decide to become followers of Jesus.

"An angel is a supernatural being found in many religions. In Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Zoroastrianism, angels, as attendants or guardians to man, typically act as messengers from God. In some cultures, they are believed to be the most powerful type of fairy."

To be our Guardian they would have to be higher.
