No. Parasites live off of their host. God lives regardless.

God is not a parasite. Without him inside us we would be irredeemable human beings that behave like animals.

Also, parasites eat off of and and sometimes kill their hosts.
God helps those who believe in him to do good things. And he does not kill us, he grants us eternal life.
