This could be very painful to her and you need to take her to the vet to have it removed because it may split all the way open and she could bleed, because dogs have a blood vein in their nails. The nail may eventually fall out itself.

She broke her nail and that is usually quite painful. Being that it's cracked all the way to the root I would suggest a visit to the vet. Most likely it needs to be removed, so it won't get caught on anything and ripped out. Pulling it out by yourself is possible but her toe is going to be open and could become infected, not to mention it will bleed. A vet would be better to clean the area, apply ointment, and wrap her foot. I would call and make an appointment with the vet as soon as possible. If you have an ace bandage wrap her foot(not too tight you don't want to cut of circulation.) until you see the vet this will protect her toe.

Is she in any pain? Can you get her to a vet?
The first concern would be to clean, to protect from infection.
You could try Hydrogen Peroxide, or Alcohol, which may sting.
The nail could be put together, if not torn, with superglue.
But it may have to be removed surgically.
