Not just believe, one can know this for themselves if they look with there own true *eye*. EDIT: What knows what you are thinking, doing, and saying? It is the same for everyone, this one true eye that can't be named. It sees the flower unfolding and *knows* the beauty of itself. This one thing misunderstood has caused the deaths of many. Everyone has it, is it. Be still and know I am God. So simple. I started practising {and it does take practise} meditation 14 years ago and continue today. In zen tea is offered but before one can drink this tea everything that was in the cup must be tossed away. Now we can drink to *what is*. *sip*

I am agnostic, so essentially I do not "believe" in anything -- I am incapable of believing. However, I do think about what may be the reality of our existence, and I concede that the concept of Cosmic Consciousness is interesting, especially since it does not require the sort of devotion or reverence which the idea of a deity seems to demand. I wrote a "novel" of Atlantis and felt as I was writing it as if I were tapping into the Stream of Consciousness relating to the subject and its history, and I am currently writing a sequel and finding the identical sort of experience occurring, as if the story is somehow writing itself. Therefore, I would not dismiss the possibility of universal consciousness being the operational principle.

Yes, I think that universal consciousness is called God, Absolute, and we all are parts of it.

In reality I think the universe, with the exception of Universal Studios is a tad unconscious not to recognize the ultimate cosmos of the integrated biosphere coupled with the transient Jupiter. Don't you agree?

No, but I believe in a universal subconsciousness connection. It's lurking there just out of sight and sound.
