All religions are archaic leftovers from superstitions we should know better than to accept.

As a Bible Student I feel that the message of the Bible is not out of date but many religions seem to be out of date with just what that message is. Satan the Devil is indeed
a real person, and Hell is just the place of the dead, as I see it.
Mainstream Christians my just be miss
informed Bible Students.

Yes ,the christian religion is a product of the picsean age which is now coming to an end.We are now moving into the age of Aquarius in which Maitreya is the present World Teacher for this new age. A little known fact is that the man ,Jesus,is a disciple of Maitreya and has been for a very long time and will be until the end of the age.

There's a book called 23 Minutes in Hell.
Do yourself a favor and read it.

No, mainstream Christians are not out of date. Here's what the Bible has to say about it.
2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
John 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.
1 Peter 1:24 for "All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord remains forever." And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

Since Jesus believed in a literal Hell, and a literal devil, then how can anyone be a "Christian" if he does not accept the teachings of the Christ? Seems like a contradiction in terms.

Any "Christian" who thinks his religion is the same as it was at its legendary founding, or a thousand years ago, or an hundred years ago, is simply ignorant of history. People have changed and so has the religion. Call it "moral relativism"!
