there has never in all history been a nation, country, state called "palestine", nor has there been a language, culture, or people. The very first time ARABs began to call themselves "palestinian" was in 1963 when egyptian born arafat applied the term to them. The ARABS have not been there for years or generations as is claimed, Jews have lived in the area continiously for 3300 years.. some times in greator numbers some times in lessor numbers, Jews began to return to the area in greator numbers starting in the late 1800's then ARABS came to the area for jobs. 2000 years ago under roman occupation, the term palestinia was used to punish jews. Actually, it was Abraham's land and he purchased from the natives there for money and Isaac inherited it and then Jacob. Jacob and his family moved to Egypt for 400 years to escape famine, (during which the Palestinians began to come in as squatters from Caphtor/Crete and Cyprus) and then the Jews left Egypt and returned home.

The Babylonians conquered the land and moved its inhabitants to Iraq, then Persia (Iran) conquered Babylon and sent the Jews back to their land. Then the Greeks conquered the Jews (and also the Persian Empire), and the Romans conquered the Greeks and ultimately dispersed the Jewish nation to the farthest corners of the earth. Arabs eventually took over Israel and continued to exclude the Jews from Palestine (their ancestral homelands), the Ottoman Turks took it from the Arabs, the British took Israel from the Turks and opened it back up to the Jews who colonized it and were granted independence from Great Britain in 1948.

Just a little history, because the Jews were not always fighting Arabs, like people think.

First, there was a lot of fighting; in fact, Gideon's battle of the lamps with the Midianites (Judges:7 & 8), was with Ishmaelites, who are (according to the Qur'an) descendants of Abraham and ancestors of todays Arab nations.

But Israel was taken into Babylonian captivity about 600 BC and from that time they were always an OCCUPIED NATION, with another country controlling their government.

After being sold as slaves around the world in AD 70, as Jesus told them, they took a defensive role while Israel, as well as North Africa and the East/North Mediterranean Sea became Christian nations under the Roman Empire.

Presto, in the 7th century, along comes Mohammed, and they unite under the Ottoman Empire, and consume the Christian countries. They feel, Once mine, always mine, and are fighting the 1948 UN resolution.

Israel's return to the Holy Land is predicted in Bible prophecy, and the Islam nations, surviving the Crusades, are named in the Bible, and will ultimately attack Israel. And don't think they are not planning it. Only God restrains Armageddon from wiping us out.

As I understand it, there were no Palestinians until the Romans named the place "Palestine".

But after talking to someone who knows Halpotypes and lineages through sampling, those people are virtually the same as the Jews are in respect to DNA.

The Jews had been there long before the current crop of Palestinians, before the Romans kicked them out.

So they wanted to return and have a small homeland. Originally, that's what they got...a small homeland.

Then the Arab nations attacked Israel, and got their asses completely kicked. Israel expanded its borders and the displaced Palestinians continue to complain about it to this day.
