is it possible to swap the 1996 hondas vtech engine for any of these otehr engines?

There's your sign! rear wheel drive engines really don't like the small engine compartment of the Honda 2.2 liter that sits sideways. Extensive modifications and rear axle drive shaft you might have that gen3 win turbo RX-7 engine and transmission in there in about a year or two. I imagine a $10,000 bill to make a 3,500 dollar car go a little faster. Just buy a new car with warranty.

You could do any of those swaps, but they all would require heavy modification and fabrication, to the point it isnt worth it and way too much trouble. Then theres the emissions problem after that also.

i usally just grab 2 gallons of premix coolant ant top off with water but about 16.4 quarts that is complete refill from empty thats approx 3 gallons

Depends on the motor mounts. You might have to cut and re-weld the motor mounts to fit the new motor.
