God hears us - not matter how we pray - kneeling, laying down, out loud, or just in our heads - it's what's in our hearts that God is most interested in!@!~

you can pray anywhere and at any time. because god is everywhere. Not necessary that you have to only pray in front of a cross. I only pray in front of a crucifix either at the church or when I am at home.

When I am outside...I would pray silently in my heart.

As for the kneeling...I do it in front of the crucifix. Before I sleep, I would just lie on my bed and say the St. Michael prayer and Guardian angel prayer.

Since God is everywhere..how or where you pray is not an issue. As long as you pray with your all heart without any interruptions, it's fine.

God will be satisfied. At least you are making the effort to pray.

You can pray anytime, anywhere, anyhow, and any volume. God can hear you without you even opening your mouth. And even though many people feel that they get in a better state of mind when they kneel and fold their hands (which are signs of respect and humility) it is totally not neccessary. I think I have prayed just about everywhere, even driving on the highway with my kids screaming in the background - I was praying for some help with patience. LOL

Prayer is the way we communicate with God. To answer your question, I will ask a question...do you kneel to communicate with people you know?

There are correct ways to pray and are listed in the bible. Remember that prayer is our way to regain fellowship with God. He communicates to us through it and His Word (the Bible). You can pray anywhere at any time. It's like calling a friend on a cell phone and having a conversation.

You do not have to kneel, and you do not have to talk out loud to pray. Kneeling is a act of reverence; recommended but not required.

Kneeling, standing, lying down, any way is acceptable to the God. Out loud or in your thoughts at anytime. My advise is to remember who you are praying to and in whose name you are praying in. Our Heavenly Father is pleased to have us come to him in prayer.

Anytime you talk to God, either verbally or in your thoughts, you are praying. Walking down the street, driving in your car, kneeling by your bed at night, at the family meal, while typing this answer, it IS PRAYING! God knows you are praying and He is listening.

Prayers can take many forms. You don't need to kneel to be praying. You don't even need to close your eyes. You can say any kind of prayer in your head anywhere.

Prayer is simply expressing your relationship with God. It is communicating with God.

Praying can be speaking with God out loud or in your head, or it can be sharing your day, whether it is a good day or bad, with God.

Prayer can be laughing or crying with God.

Praying is talking to God, or whoever you worship, no matter how you do it. However it is best to do it in private and no you dont have to talk out loud. God can hear you no matter what.
