this is for abulaifz who mentioned in my previos post that bible does not prove that dinosaurs existed...
the Bible describes a couple of creatures in such a way that some scholars believe the writers may have been describing dinosaurs. Behemoth is said to be the mightiest of all God’s creatures, a giant whose tail is likened to a cedar tree (Job 40:15ff). Some scholars have tried to identify Behemoth as either an elephant or a hippopotamus. Others point out that elephants and hippopotamuses have very thin tails, nothing comparable to a cedar tree. Dinosaurs like the Brachiosaurus and the Diplodocus on the other had huge tails which one could easily compare to a cedar tree.

everything about life is explained well in the bible and i might not be able to answer all your question because i havent read the bible completely.but dont ask questions without being sure of it. similarly to all atheist read the bible like a bedtime story book like many claim it to be so u aint so naive,g'nite

Call me crazy....
But I believe that the behemoth mentioned in the Bible could be referring to a dinosaur. The "tail like a cedar tree" is just the beginning.

Think about this for a minute. If you believe the Bible, then

1) all creation was made in the recent past not millions of years ago.
2) All creatures, including dinosaurs, were made on day 5
3) Humans were made on day 6
4) Human and dinosaurs co-existed
5) It never rained before the flood
6) The thick cloud cover created a "greenhouse" affect (like Venus)
7) The entire Earth was warm and tropical (no frozen poles)
8) Dinosaurs being reptiles loved this warm moist environment
9) Noah's flood came
10) after raining 40 days and 40 nights the cloud cover
disappeared
11) The Earth suddenly became much colder
12) All animals, except those on the ark, drowned
13) Upon exiting the ark the dinosaurs could not adapt to the severe seasons, direct sunlight and loss of moisture
14) Most dinosaurs species become extinct
15) The ones that survive are water based (alligators, crocodiles, etc)

I have just shown that based on what the Bible says it is very likely that man and dinosaur lived together and that Behemoth is more than likely a dinosaur.

If that doesn't convince you then consider this. China has the longest continuous history. Chinese people have been drawing the image of the dragon for thousands of years. Why would they "make up" a fictitous creature? Perhaps that dragon is not fictitous. Instead, perhaps the dragon is nothing more than a flying, fire-breathing dinosaur. Crazy? Don't electric eels and fire-bugs do seemingly impossoble things?

Although we alter the spelling of behemoth and Leviathan slightly, we still use those same words in bibles today. However, tanniyn is always translated into another word when we write it in English. Tanniyn occurs 28 times in the Bible and is normally translated “dragon.” It is also translated “serpent,” “sea monster,” “dinosaur,” “great creature,” and “reptile.” Behemoth and Leviathan are relatively specific creatures, perhaps each was a single kind of animal. Tanniyn is a more general term, and it can be thought of as the original version of the word “dinosaur.” The word “dinosaur” was originally coined in 1841, more than three thousand years after the Bible first referred to “Tanniyn.” To make things clearer, we constructed the following table comparing the scientific names with the Biblical names tanniyn, behemoth, and Leviathan. It is hard to read Job 41:18-21 without realizing the Bible is telling us that Leviathan breathes fire. That alone will eliminate almost every living animal. Yes, there is one animal like that in today’s world. It is called a bombardier beetle. This beetle is a native of Central America, and has a nozzle in its hind end that acts like a little flame thrower. It sprays a high-temperature jet of gas (fueled by hydroquinones and hydrogen peroxide with oxidative enzymes) for protection. Now, if a Central American beetle can do it, so could Leviathan. By the way, crocodiles and alligators are out of the picture on this one.

Oh please spare me your childish antics...

So why haven't we found any fossils of man and dinosaurs in the same rock strata? Surely if you say the Bible proves the existence of dinosaurs, then you must believe that fossils support this claim no?

But what you will say is that Satan planted these fossils in a random mess to trick us yes? Well your Biblical proofs are not so good either, why can't this Behemoth be a Nile crocodile? This have giant tails and can grow to large sizes. See? it is all subjective.

Life is not explained well at all in the Bible - no mention of atoms, cells, cellular processes, biochemical reactions, respiration, photosynthesis, DNA etc etc. All of these are fundamental to life.

If people of biblical times knew about dinosaurs, it's kind of strange that whenever a giant bone was unearthed, they attributed it to an extinct race of giant humans! On the other hand, Asian cultures which existed long before the Bible was written, attributed these huge bones to mythical fire-breathing dragons! No-one seems to have connected them with any living species. Wonder why? Probably because none of these peoples had the slightest clue that species of giant reptiles had roamed the world twenty million years earlier.

Ugh not again.
*Drink*!
Look, Behemoth is described as having a "navel" and "stones". Dinosaurs had neither exterior testicles (stones) or a navel. Behemoth is an elephant. EOD.
As for Leviathan, clearly it is a crocodile.
NO mention of dinosaurs in the bible.
Get it now?

It's an elephant. Sometimes a tail isn't a tail. It could be the trunk. Then again, why does an elephant have four feet? Six inches would look silly.

Many dinosaurs where under three feet. Besides that in that same book you refer to it also mentions how there were giants maybe this explain Yao Ming? Or maybe it further indicates that book you put so much stock in is dumb.

ok, behemoth was a 'big thing', and that empirically equals dinosaur how? Read the passages in the article, its just a bunch of crap describing a large creature, that's it, not even in detail.

Err...you are aware that both the Greeks and the Romans found fossils and displayed them in their cities. It is entirely possible that someone had an idea. But the Bible also mentions Unicorns, Satyrs and Dragons. Not to mention the talking snake and donkey.
