Most of the swap meets I have been to around here, seem to sell only knock off designer sunglasses, cell phone covers, cologne, cheap clothing, etc. Are there any swap meets, etc, that resemble the Saturday Market in Portland, OR, in craft, merchandise, and general feel? Just wondering, I have lived in LA for 5 years, and I havent been able to find anything close to it, but maybe I havent been looking hard enough. Thanks for the input.

Pasadena (Rose Bowl) and Long Beach (Veterens Stadium) are supposed to have good swap meets.
The Sunday farmers market at Alamitos Bay in Long Beach has just added some craft booths along with the usual fresh food booths.

on the city the place I even have lived now for relatively a while there is an indoor marketplace and in 2 adjacent cities there are additionally indoor markets. those 3 are open 6 days each week. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that for the time of yet another city in user-friendly terms 4 miles away they have an outdoors marketplace each Thursday and Sunday. On Sundays there is likewise a motor vehicle boot sale in an adjacent container so this attracts many human beings. the priority with this marketplace is that there are any such great style of stalls merchandising same products. approximately six sell the comparable varieties of outfits and on the comparable expenditures. various sell flowers and various others sell strategies. There in basic terms isn't the style that there was once. i do no longer discover markets to be everywhere close to as reliable as they have been while i became right into a toddler and that they have not got the deals which maximum markets had years in the past. most of the fruit and vegetable stalls and butchers stalls are greater high priced than the supermarkets. Our community marketplace nevertheless has a excellent stall merchandising curtain and dressmaking fabric and additionally has an extremely great stall merchandising incredibly reliable high quality greetings taking part in cards beginning at in user-friendly terms 29p. That stall is often very busy.

Every weekend they have a terrific Marketplace at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. The Fair is going on right now so not sure if its going too. Check it out on the Internet. Also the 2nd Sunday at the Rose Bowl is a great swap meet. Also you can go downtown LA to the garmet district, jewelry district etc. Around Olympic and Santee St. 11th and Main St., etc.
