We should live by God's word. It is needed while living inorder to be save to everlasting life.

I guess I live for my own convenience. I assume that you are talking about the bible. I personally do not believe the bible is the word of God. I go directly to the source. I do not need a pastor or the bible to tell me what God wants. I guess you do.

I live according to my conscience. And I suppose that yes, it is most "convenient" to live that way, peacefully co-existing with other people.

I try very hard to live by His word. Our flesh tries constantly to pull us away but that's what prayer is for. The Apostle Peter said if we draw close to God that He will draw close to us and that's where my victory always lies.
