Ya, ask the author, why did he choose for this character to.......... or why did he choose to perform this scene in the sea or why did he let the girl to be murdered in the room. You know such questions like these can be a good examples for you.

Ask the author why he choose the characters in the book,why did he choose the tittle''The old man and the sea''?,and if he book that he wrote is his favorite from the others?

If any life experiences were involved in the idea. Where he got his inspiration. Did he have an interest in the sea.
