if you want to believe and pray to Zeus and his "commandments" , (does he have any?) than BY ALL MEANS, it certainly wouldn't bother me.

If you , in the name of Zeus, are a kind , loving and caring person than you're alright by me.

The proof is not just the bible or faith. These two things are secondary to the creator of each. It would be like saying the sunrays are the proof of the sun itself. The rays are from the source but not the source. The actual manifestation of God Himself is the personal one on one experience each believer receives that is the evidence.

The Bible is proof to us the God exist just like the Odyssey is proof to you that Zeus exit. Proof of the existence of God to a person usually resides in a personal experience that they have had with God, but while it might be proof to that person, you cant possibly expect a personal experience like that to be proof to anybody but the person who has had that personal experience.

The principle proof of God is His direct interaction with the individual person. This proof is not transferable. No-one else can present it to you. However, God loves you as much as anyone else, and stands ready to reveal Himself to you in ways that will allow you to know Him. Zeus will never do this for you. I don't know about you but I never doubt the reality of a person I know personally. Ask and you will receive. Seek and you will find.

maybe soooo.

maybe there are some people who still believe in zeus.....

i don't have all the answers. and if there are people who still believe in zeus and that gives them comfort then let them believe.....

i think that everyone should have something to believe in that gives them peace and comfort and that makes the world a better place.

No, if Zeus is not real, then merely believing in him will not help. In order for something to be true-then first it "must" be true!.
I have no problem proving God is real-to myself. But I can't for you. People believe God is real-then they become born again-then God gives them a new spirit-then they "know" God is real-they no longer have to depend on their beliefs. Jesus told Nicodemus-"...you must be born again before you can see the kingdom of God". Nicodemus was not only one of the most educated men in Israel (the teacher), but he was also a priest. He couldn't see it either.
You want God to prove Himself to you before you will begin to believe. But God wants you to trust (believe) Him first-then he will show you more proof than you can handle.
Its up to you.

Of course it does. It makes Zeus real to you. You may also have faith in God, which makes him real to you, but certainly not to me.

nicely, yours is a great question i'm able to allow you comprehend that. i think of faith is needed because of the fact there are different issues that we ought to do. issues that we ought to continuously face up to. faith isn't something without an merchandise of which it acts upon. If I rather have self belief that my Father in Heaven loves me, it supplies me capability to do something He thinks that I would desire to do. See, i think I rather have a plan for my existence. i think I lived in Heaven earlier I got here to earth. and that i willingly got here to earth desirous to take on the annoying circumstances that I rather have and would have. Alot of persons have attitudes in the direction of annoying circumstances that say, why me? that's unfair and different issues like that. because of the fact i comprehend and function faith that I as quickly as needed this, i do no longer stay on that form of an innovations-set. often times I do issues without understanding why. they arrive out with great consequences, yet I doubt i'd've finished them if i did no longer have faith that Heavenly Father would help me. If a try have been rather consumer-friendly, would it rely that lots to every physique? If God confirmed himself to everybody and then promised to help them, existence would be rather consumer-friendly. We under no circumstances ought to truly anticipate him retaining his word, and we under no circumstances ought to place any attempt into attending to renowned him because of the fact he's already confirmed himself to all persons. part of what makes existence annoying is that we don't comprehend each and every thing. we ought to have confidence what we've faith and thereafter we benefit information. Having faith in God makes you stronger and greater in a position to serve God and to attain your finished capacity.
