Just recently, I was making a turn and I think I might have seen a police just a couple feet away. The speed limit was 25, and I think I might have gone 28 mph for 3 seconds after making a left turn because I had to get away from traffic but then quickly adjusted my speed. Do you know if I might have gotten a speeding ticket for that? The police didn't pull me over or anything..

Technically, yes, you were speeding. However, no cop in his right mind is going to pull you over for what you describe. He would be laughed out of court by the judge if you decided to contest the ticket.

No, you didn't get cited, because they have to give you a ticket - unless you are spotted with a camera going through a red light in certain cities. In fact, in the cities that have red-light cameras, they have been declared as "citing a car, but not a driver" and they are illegal. Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX have such cameras and they both have been considered illegal by the courts.

If they didn't stop you at the time, they won't hunt you down for 3 mph over the limit. It would be unusual to stop you for that at all.

NO YOU DIDN'T. THAT WASN'T CONSIDERED OVER-SPEEDING, OTHERWISE HE'D HAVE TURNED AROUND AND PURSUED YOU.

Why are you asking this question twice?
