Have learned today through those who were once J.W. before coming to Christ Jesus to be Born Again and have learned from a Born Again lady who's husband (who is now Born Again) but was a very serious J.W. (as like Moises & also Debbie2243, who are very serious J.W's) that the Watchtower Society views that ONLY 144,000 Jehovah Witnesses will go to Heaven to reign with Jesus Christ(who to them will be reverted back into Michael-the archangel). ALL the other millions of Jehovah Witnesses who did not make it through their self-effort/self-works will be on Paradise on Earth and Jesus(or as the Watchtower teaches the J.W.'s - Michael-the archangel) and the 144,000 Jehovah Witnesses who are part of the Annointed Class-will rule over the millions of Jehovah Witnesses living on Planet Earth-Paradise.

*"All the Versions of the Holy Bible which are inspired by the person of the Holy Spirit-the Spirit of Truth{excluding the N.W.T.) make it clear in the Book of Revelation that the 144,000 come out of the 12 tribes of Israel-those that come to Jesus Christ to be Born Again during the Tribulation."
*ALL of this can only be truly understood by those who are taught, led and controlled by the Spirit of Truth-the person of the Holy Spirit-the Comforter {Jn. 14:16-17;26).
GOD {Jehovah/Yahwah-the Godhead
is the ONE who saves a person by Grace thru faith [not of works-it is a Gift of GOD{Eph. 2:8-9) and this takes place solely through the finished work of Jesus Christ "on the Cross of Calvary" and by His Resurrection from the dead. Once a person repents from their sin {Prov 28:13) and receives Jesus as LORD and Savior by Grace through faith-they are Born Again and the Spirit of Truth-the person of the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of that Born Again believer teaching them; leading and guiding them into all Truth. *Jesus said "My Sheep hear my Voice." The Holy Spirit is that voice which leads and guides us once we are truly Born Again. *"A Person who is Truly Born Again will declare that Jesus Christ is LORD, as Phil 2:5-11 states He is;
and as Romans 10:9-10 states must be confessed for Salvation."

Jehovah Witnesses believe that a person has to be Born Again to enter Heaven; but they have a different view of how to be Born Again(it's by works) and only 144,000 of the Watchertower(they say Jehovah, but it is the Watcher theology) Jehovah's Witnesses will be Born Again-to spend eternity in Heaven, all the rest of those who were not good enough to make it into the Annointed Class will spend eternity on paradise earth. They will be ruled by- actually the arch-angel michael and the 144,000 Annointed Class of Jehovah Witnesses from Heaven.

This explanation which I learned today from ex-J.W.'s who are Now Truly Born Again believers in Christ-has hopefully helped some. **Will any Jehovah Witness-past, present or future ever declare that Jesus Christ is LORD here on Earth? Never, for they do not believe that He is LORD. AND Phil. 2:5-11 clearly states that "Jesus 'is' LORD!" AND those verses state that in the future on judgement day-they will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD to the Glory of God the Father. *Since J.W.'s believe that Jesus was merely the arch-angel Michael (which they claim is a son of God); therefore they will never come out and confess "Jesus is LORD": unless they leave the Watchtower Society completely!!
The word Son(as Jesus is the Son of GOD) is synonymous with the-WORD in John 1:1-3. *However there too, the Watchtower has its answer by calling Jesus in Jn. 1:1 "a god", in the New World Translation. *IF this is the case then How many gods does the Watchtower have? Jehovah and Jesus{alias Michael) - a god. *The first of the 10 Commandments states that we are to have NO other gods, but YHWH {Jehovah) - correct? Having a even just one god other than YHWH{Jehovah) is strictly forbidden. *YHWH will not share His Glory with anyone else, for HE {YHWH) alone is LORD & GOD !

Salvation is by GRACE through Faith alone,
NOT by works-therefore we can not boast of having helped or assisted Jesus Christ in saving us. *When Jesus shed His Blood on the Cross and said "It is Finished!" - It was finished. *We can not add to what He already accomplished for humanity: we simply must repent of our sin of unbelief and receive Jesus as LORD & Savior and we have Eternal Life. *God the Father sanctifies us with His TRUTH to make us Holy; the WORD is TRUTH; as we humbly come before the LORD in prayer and humbly yield to the WORD of GOD. But this all takes place by His Grace after we are already Saved.

*"Jesus Christ 'is' LORD!{κύριος - kurios -Supreme in authority: - Master, Jehovah, God, Lord)!"* {Phil. 2:5-11). *For it is written in the Holy Word of GOD-Bible(excluding the N.W.T.).

Definition: Being born again involves being baptized in water (“born from water”) and begotten by God’s spirit (“born from . . . spirit”), thus becoming a son of God with the prospect of sharing in the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5) Jesus had this experience, as do the 144,000 who are heirs with him of the heavenly Kingdom.

Now NO Jehovah's Witnesses says these 144,000 are made up of ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses. Those ones began being counted while Christ yet walked the earth. All the faithful apostles, all those at Pentecost 33CE and more. So many of the 144,000 are/were all 'witnesses' of Jehovah, but not Jehovah's Witnesses.

Is it possible for a person to have God’s spirit and yet not be “born again”?

Regarding John the baptizer, Jehovah’s angel said: “He will be filled with holy spirit right from his mother’s womb.” (Luke 1:15) And Jesus later said: “Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is [Why? Because John will not be in the heavens and so there was no need for him to be “born again”]. But from the days of John the Baptist until now [when Jesus stated this] the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press.”—Matt. 11:11, 12.

The spirit of Jehovah was “operative” upon David and “spoke” by him (1 Sam. 16:13; 2 Sam. 23:2), but nowhere does the Bible say that he was “born again.” There was no need for him to be “born again,” because, as Acts 2:34 says: “David did not ascend to the heavens.”

Now every dedicated(Baptized) Jehovah's Witness has accepted Christ Jesus as our Savior. We do not believe Jesus is God, we know he is not. He is the Son of God.

We also do not believe once saved always saved. Your salvation you work out on a daily basis. If you think this is wrong then think about Judas.

So it is only those with the heavenly hope, those of the 144,000 that can be spoken of as being "born again." The members of the "great crowd" spoken of in Revelation 7:9 are not "born again" although they do have God's holy spirit.

I would like to know what man everyone is talking about that we as Jehovah's Witnesses follow? I follow only my God, Jehovah. No man. We go by what is in the Bible, not by what a man says. Unlike those that foloow the King James Bible, our Bible doesn't have a man's name on the front of it. And it does not even list the translators names, in order not to give them some sort of glory for their work.

Jehovah Witnesses leaders have categorically told them that the only people who have to be born again are those who are given the heavenly calling (hope). They limit this to 144,000 from the time of Christ till he returns visibly. Right now there are about 8,500 JWs who claim to be in this exclusive group. The remaining millions cannot, by any twisting of words or scripture, say they have to be born again because their leaders wrote an article entitled, "Who Are Born Again" (Awake! 8 Feb 1988) which says:

"Since Jesus Christ made the point that this was a prerequisite for entering the Kingdom of God, it is vital that we do understand what he meant by being 'born again'." They then explained that Jesus' disciples were born again, thereby obtaining a clean standing before God and becoming God's sons. Next, they interpreted Rev 7&14 as meaning only 144,000 people would become God's sons, and asked,

"Does this mean then that in order to gain God's favor, everyone must be 'born again'? Not at all." To justify this outright contradiction of Jesus' words in John chapter 3 they tried to make a distinction between the heavenly kingdom and the earthly kingdom.! What hoops they have to jump through to make Jesus' simple words mean the exact opposite to what he said!

Further, they say "The 'other sheep' do not need any such rebirth, for their goal is life everlasting in the restored earthly paradise" (Watchtower 15 Feb 1986 p14). Also, "...a careful study of God's Word and Christ's teaching shows that only a limited number share the privilege of being born again. The 'great crowd' of true Christians today do not need to be born again, since their hope of everlasting life is earthly, not heavenly." (Watchtower 1 April 1988 p18)

All JWs claim they believe in Jesus and are his followers. Well, if that is true, then they have the RIGHT to be born again, for John said (ch 1:12-13) "But to all who received him [Jesus], who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." So why are their leaders trying to take that power away from all but 8,500 of them?

The Bible solutions this question very for sure. purely study the entire lot of Romans bankruptcy 8, without choosing and selecting which scriptures you like. you will see that there are in straightforward terms 2 communities of individuals defined in this bankruptcy. in case you're actually not born from God, for the duration of the spirit of adoption, you do not belong to Christ. that's somewhat straightforward doctrine.

We as Jehovah's Witnesses believe that getting baptised is a public demonstration of our desire to serve and dedicate ourselves to Jehovah God.
As a result we are in a way 'born again'.That is we have put away our former course of life and have put on the new Christian personality.(Col. 1:10).
There are those who are born again to spirit life. These are the 144,000 who are annointed by Jehovah God and are resurrected to immortal spirit life in the heavens. They will rule as kings and priests with Christ over the earth.(Rev.14:1-4)

Jehovah Witnesses do believe in Jesus and excepts him as the way to Jehovah. What is wrong with some of you people? We all must repent and turn around Acts 3:19.

The majority of people even understand what that means, if you don´t beleive me ask to that person who claim is born again if they know when Jesus died for him, and very probably don´t know, if didn´t know somethnig as basic as that, how would you expect to understand what is the meaning of "born again"?

Born again is nor get baptized and accept Jesus as a saviour is a gift that God gives to the people who will rule with Jesus in earth, they are begotten as Jesus was by God (Jehovah)

The phrase born again is to put on something new. Some would argue that at their baptism they have died to their former life and have been born again.

What is new is the personality. You have put on a Christ like personality and have turned from your former course.

There is a small group that do put on a new body...a spiritual body. But they have to die and shed the fleshly one to be made anew.
These are the anointed of Jehovah. These are the little flock. The faithful and discreet slave that will rule with Christ in his Kingdom and of whom Jesus referred to kings and lords in heaven...a new creation.
