I think so.

If we were to examine everything in a day, I think we would see God working much clearer.

Whatever happens in this life is by the eternal Will of God. Every believer in God knows that.

The proof of it is that sometimes a human might want to do something but falls and breaks a leg and is no longer able to do it. Why him/her ? That is not a coincidence, it's something destined eternally to occur.

"I am never manifest to the foolish and unintelligent. For them I am covered by My internal potency, and therefore they do not know that I am unborn and infallible."
Bhagavad-gita. 7.25

Although known by many names and appearing in many forms, God is a single absolute entity, and He is a person. But this true understanding is hidden in the co-called intellect of common people .
The Lord is invisible to the eyes of the common man, but His energies act in various ways. When people are in adversity, they think that God is hiding Himself and is working by His mystic potency. People cannot understand that God, by His multifarious potencies, can work so wonderfully that He can be present everywhere and still remain in His eternal abode.

God is beyond the limitation of our thinking and philosophical speculation. His confidential activities, are very difficult to understand by ordinary men. But for those who have unflinching devotion unto Him, they can see.

Or just coincidences. Which is more likely? An all powerful being gives a damned about you or that things just happen?

Why would your god want to be anonymous? Unless he doesn't want worshippers...hey, I guess he doesn't want worshippers.
