Suboxone is a life saver, I am still taking it, but I know what you mean. Be proud to do this takes courage and alot of determination. Best wishes I lost all my buddies when I got sober as well. I met new clean friends in the meetings though. One day at a time.

Yes you should be proud of yourself. Opiate additions are tough. Yes you are still an addict. Society is working toward taking the stigma away from such illnesses/conditions as drug addiction. Just keep on heading forward, two years great job.
Q: Have you had surgery lately? Common medication for for postoperative pain.

Great pharmacology question.

Addiction is a choice. If you choose not to use whatever drug you're referring to, then you're not addicted. If you choose to use it, you are addicted. Simple as that.

You always have free will. Saying "I'm addicted" is an excuse to make it seem like you're not responsible for your own actions. You are always responsible for your actions. Always.

If you continue to stay away from this drug, it is your own accomplishment, and no one else's. If you don't, it is your fault, and no one else's.
