The first thing we must do is recognize the culture that allows it.
The second thing we must do is recognize their intent.
The third thing we must do is identify what means we have to eliminate that threat.
(Many refuse to even admit there is a threat.)
In many ways that is the subject of my blog.
The threat is real. The enemy is real. The cost of winning is great and will take decades. The cost of losing is catastrophic and will last lifetimes.
While most Americans can cheer or jeer from the sidelines, those who have committed themselves to field of battle will continue to protect those on the sidelines. It is not a football game with time limits and limited overtimes. It does have rules and out of bounds but the enemy does not play by any of the rules of International law.
