who here thinks that once the oil runs out in the middle east...most muslims in the middle east would perish or become beggars because they are over reliant on their "treasure", oil, and totaly forget about relying on technology such as solar power?

vicarious,
the idea here is, the choice to move on , towards technology and globalisation, which america does, and most muslim nations, do not.

i personally think that if muslim nations are so unwilling to be part of the global world, and cooperate with other nations in terms of technology and building of good infrastructure, then when the oil runs out, the world might already be 70% running on solar power, and they will lose out

More likely that the US will collapse, as we are the biggest importer of oil in the world.

Catastrophic earthquakes will come and perish them before the oil runs out. You see, the tectonic plates need the oil to lubricate them. When the oil is depleted, it's the same as a car engine that has been drained of its oil. Why in HEL do you think there are so many earthquaks in California? Answer - The Alaskan pipeline has drained the oil from this fault. They have had some #8 earthquakes in the Middle East region already - lots of them, you just don't hear about them on the news here. Right after Bush's 9/11 stunt, there was a major earthquake in southern Turkey where 13,000 people died. I heard about it because I read foreign newspapers online. I think that was far more serious than a concrete jungle in New York being imploded by the government.
People can ignorantly believe what Bush TELLS them to believe about your homeboy Ahmadinejad over in Iran, but that man is extremely smart and has vision - he is trying to install an alternative energy NOW, before the **** hits the fan with the oil. Why can't WE have a President like him? He's a no nonsense, no bullshit sort of guy with horrible fashion sense, but he looks at the big picture and is proactive, AND intelligent. He even has his own blog on the internet.

They will not perish but they will become poor and meaningless.
In 40-50 years the West will pay as much attention to Saudi Arabia (or whatever it will be) as they do to the Congo.
The Arab world has shown it is unwilling or unable to build a strong infrastructure with its oil wealth, as such when their governments collapse the top upper class with all the wealth will flee to America and Europe and leave everyone else to how they were before oil.
As such our goal is to thwart their attacks on the west while draining them of oil, and at the same time developing a back up so we do not suffer when it starts to run out.
Will we? That is the question of our generation.

No doubt about it, the oil WILL run out, and probably in the next generation. It will completely change nearly everything about the planet as we know it. The residents of Oil producing nations will have nothing to offer, and they will perish. Transportation, agriculture, homes, schools, business, EVERYthing will be changed drastically, and permanently because of the loss of this product. It is doubtful that they (OPEC) will find a substitute for the loss of income and jobs.

Most Muslims in the Middle East already ARE extremely poor, many of them ARE beggars. Their leaders don't pass down the profits from the oil in most of those countries to the common people. They keep it all and ride around in Rolls Royces.

i glance ahead to the day that it does. by ability of that element or way till now that, human beings might have developed lots better, cleanser, greater low priced components of capability. the middle east might return to what it initially replaced into, ineffective barren deserts. not greater oil money, not greater unfastened journey for all those Arabs. not greater terrorist investment. cleanser environment. The ask your self on the international economic gadget led to by ability of oil understanding will at last paintings itself out. existence may be super.

they are totally relying on it for income. It would be the same as a man losing his job. They are planning on taking over the world. Not just the middle east.

Not just the Muslims live in the Middle East, by that time the Muslims have amassed enough revenue from the sale of oil they would be able to buy many nukes from USA and then send a few back to the PRESIDENT to see if it works, and one to you to blow your a s s away, you racist bigot
