Sorry Frosty but I have to disagree somewhat with your elder friend. I do not believe that by ignoring you will always win. As a matter of fact I'd be willing to wager that more often then not if one chooses to ignore that they would lose. People would tire of being ignored and move on. Far as having emptiness in your heart when people you have taken for granted disappear that sounds almost like it might make sense. Fact of life is that any time a relationship ends regardless of circumstances there is usually a time needed to grieve this loss.

140lbs and 5'10 does not sound "too skinny" at all! Runway models weigh less that that and not all of them can be considered too skinny. Americans tend to think that anything below a size 12-14 is too skinny. I think it has something to do with that voluptuous trend that started in the late nineties. By the way, you look good the size you are. You're very pretty, too! Judging by the first picture, you may have a bit extra on the waist area because your waist spills out from the top of your pants, but you look healthy otherwise. However, the spillage could result from jeans that do not fit properly. Also, if you feel uncomfortable or unhealthy then you should exercise and lose weight if you want. Don't worry about what others think or say. If your only motivation for remaining uncomfortable with yourself is male attention then I don't know what else to say. Good luck!

It depends on what was in their heart to begin with? If they didn't mean that much to you, it doesn't bother you if they come or go. But if they loved you and you ignored them, their love would continue but their feelings would be hurt. Taking someone for granted I think is wrong because having pride in one's heart causes this and they need to love and let love be their first concern..

"Those who ignore always wins."
This works up to a certain point. If one gets too clingy, paranoid, and overpossessive, he/she is only pushing the other person away. A little absence do make the heart grow fonder, hehe.
"When someone you take forgranted disappears, there's emptiness in one's heart."
So true. You will never realize the worth of a person in your life until you lose him/her. :-(

It sounds right. I want to feel and believe its the truth. Its not. Thats kind of been my recent philosophy and guess what? It has just screwed me up. Love or relationships shouldnt be ignored, there isnt the need.

I think I need a lot more details of what you are asking. How would you define "win"? What is it that you want? If you take someone for granted and they leave, well, you get what you deserve.
